For the test run I was being lazy and didn’t want to fill another bucket lol. The cost of everything was $3590 shipped. Thats the Crossfire, the XL upgrade, the Z axis and THC, and the RAZORWELD Cut 45.

@@TheShopWorldWide $3590 is really not that bad. I bought a PlasmaCAM at auction with busted controls for $100 and I easily have $1000+ in just retrofitting the electronics to standard parts to a quality level like you would get with this machine. I am sitting right at around $2500 for the entire setup with electronics, THC, plasma cutter, machine torch, etc. and would easily be at the $3000 mark if I had to have made my own motion gantry. An extra $600 for essentially a plug in play solution instead of dozens of hours trying to make one yourself is a no brainer. I recommend this setup to everyone that sees mine and asks about getting one since Langmuir changed the game for individuals. It is what I was planning on buying before I stumbled across my machine. My PlasmaCAM machine was $5k new without a plasma cutter, didn't have THC, and has a smaller cut capacity.
Get a Motor Guard filter for your plasma cutter. Put it after an air dryer since it is more for small particle and impurities than water though it will catch some water. Also, make sure you have any pressure regulators before any air dryers. The pressure change due to the regulator causes the air to cool condensing moisture so you get water buildup in the lines right after a regulator. The only pressure regulator you should have between the last dryer and the torch is the one in the machine.

@@longshot726At first I was going to a do a DIY cnc setup, I had a buddy talk me out of it bc it would have taken more than a month to get all the parts together and start setting it up, no telling how long it would take to learn the entire system…. This was about 20 hours set up and learning the machine and programs. I’m still tinkering with the settings but enjoying it. And Yes I am getting a motor guard filter and a better dryer setup. There’s a few other things I want to work on changing and making for the table as well. Things Langmuir should look into as options as well..
      thanks for the input!!!
