I just replaced that light with the original part, it was broken, I removed the old one, cleaned everything the gasket should touch, I tightened a little bit, it rained 3 days later and saw wet only the left corner of the ceiling, so more likely is the rear door weather strip, but also I discovered the main leak, which are both vents between the bed and the cab

Do you have to take the strut out or was it needing a replacement too?

Thanks for this video, I'm down in S Florida so I dont care about the heat. one question, I'm trying to figure out if its my Climate or AC control Module "as in the one you showed at the end of this video" OR if its my Blower fan Module or resistor as some call it under my glove box. The issue is my fan will only blow on the highest speed #5, not on 1-4. On top of this the air is uneven distribution, blows out the passenger sides but not the drivers side. This is for the AC. I actually haven't checked the heat, I never use it.. Do you know how I can narrow that down? Thanks in advance.

I used tape to hold up the window

I just cut a hole in the floorboard to change my pump…

I picked up a 86 F-150 4 x 4 extended cab paid 450 for the truck and another $50 to get home it has only 55,000 miles on it. A old lady used it for her farm truck only it's never seen Highway very little these little bullnose are getting hard to find 175,000 that's not bad on a little truck there's a lot of parts out there available for it they quite have not hit the market yet like the dent side 70s trucks and you definitely scored that for $200 can't wait to see what you going to do with it in the future and that is a smog pump delete it don't need it

there’s a grommet under the passenger floor board you could drill straight through it that’s what i did i’m having an issue though my subs are only putting out mid to high end bass. my lows are only coming from my factory sub. i been scratching my head for days

I'm chasing a problem with my shift indication on my dash as well. The little line that shoes under each gear position drops in and out. The truck is driving fine (no limp mode), but when the line goes out under the R indicator, my aftermarket backup camera doesn't work and cruise control drops out when the line drops out under D during Drive. It comes and goes and sometimes stays solid like there is nothing wrong at all. I have inspected as much of the associated wiring, but can't find any issues. I don't get any codes when I check with a standard engine scan tool. I am thinking it is the gear position switch inside the transmission or the TCM. The TCM is easier to access and it's about the same place. Any thoughts?

So glad i found your video I installed a newer 6L80e in my 2009 Avy. Took it to the dealer to flash and they some how bricked the TCM. No gear selection light, whining and grinding from the pump (transmission), and other mess. They will not take ownership they messed up. Im so mad!! Any suggestions?? They say transmission is bad. Lies

My AC and heat both work but doesn't blow too well. It's also stuck on the Defrost and Feet option and i can't switch vents. You think I just need a new actuator?

I did my transmission filter yesterday my dad tookba big screwdriver and bent that bracket back and i was able to het the pan off that way

All that he needed to do was loosen the first 2 bolts he installed and he wouldn't have any trouble getting the other 2 spacers in.Rule of thumb leave all bolts loose when working on something that is ridged to itself.

Sat all winter and trim was working put it down to far now it makes the humming noise but no movement any help would be greatly appreciated
