the ending of the song is reminiscent of the beginning of "Chokehold", if you listen to it on Spotify, it's almost a perfect transition
The good thing is that almost all the songs in the next album have a live recording on YT

I love this song. I was so glad I got to see him perform it live. Was truly moving. Now, you will be traveling into TMBTE album. Even tho you heard some songs on it, still do the reactions like you've done here. Play the studio version then the live version (if they have one, which most do). I would love to see what you think about their sound and how they've progressed by the time you get to the end of the Eden album. I enjoy your perspectives, I agree with most of them. So to me there may be a twofold meaning: one is missing limb syndrome, which isn’t my thought process
My thought process is he won’t try to kill himself anymore over her.
In Dark Signs he mentions her tearing his arms off, several mentions of self harm and scars on his arms/body. He also said he’d give anything to sever his connection with everything. He also sings about hitting delete. So to my brain he’s saying I’m not doing this to myself anymore for you. Guess finding out she was in love with someone else was the breaking point. Just a different perspective

Did you notice he says, “it still makes my blood run thin, to remember what you are to him” who’s “him”…?
To me the end sounds are the sound of being completely flooded by water and sinking to the bottom
i did wonder "who's him" when he said that lol, and listening again it does sound like its being flooded
