I don't do anything you will need to get a aftermarket carb with throttle and a clutch converter and remove the gov and get aluminum fly wheel you'll rip 70 easily. You won't be disappointed I did it all for under 400 9n amazon.
The governor isn't a speed limter, it's the engine speed limiter. These style engines aren't meant to run faster than the nominal ~3600RPM. There is a very real possibility of the connecting rod snapping and turning the engine into a grenade. Even if the rod doesn't go, the large cast iron flywheels will split in half and WILL exit the engine with lethal force. Please do this at your own risk.
@@slinxoyt856Dismemberment and fatal injury is very real by doing this. I highly advise against this. If these were quality "engines" I would say probably don't do it often, but these aren't real performance oriented engines, and are NOT built to the same standards.
Chill out. I know a lot of people who have done this. These engines are stock engines your correct they can’t handle this kind of power. The chances aren’t as high as it seems at most your flywheel will break and could destroy your engine as well. People suggest buying parts for this engine in my opinion if it’s stock than drive it as a stock and deal with it. If you want to do the zip tie add 18 pd valve springs to your engine. It will still blow over time but basically what I’m getting too is just buy a predator engine you can really start to add anything you want without having to worry if the engine can handle it.
I did this and it works but the rpms get way too high and the timing is off and now it’s about to blow up
