  • Setup both blades are Stiga ALL classic.
    BH rubbers are Tibhar Grass Dtecs OX (Black Long pips) and Dr Neubauer ABS 2 EVO 2.3mm (Red frictionless)
    the fh rubbers don't really matter for this video but they're Tenergy 80 and Skyline TG3 Neo (not boosted).

    I play dtecs ox and after knee and Hip injuried I testen Anti ABS too. I think, it is not possible to compare both Rubber. Because the Anti needs less Movement as possible and dtecs needs a sharp Movement downwards (in Germany called "Hackblock"). I think every Rubber has his own playingstyle.

      Yh I ended up making this a series kinda thing. I was mainly focussed on comparing them close to table though as mid distance onwards there is no comparison

    congratz for being a new Daddy. Thank you for the review. Btw, this is what I've found so far using long pips on a defensive blade (using the sauer & trogger hellfire x rubber) and an offensive blade (using the dawei 388d-1 rubber). If we want to block the loop using the long pips, we should chop the ball near the surface of the table when it's just bouncing. It's the same when we passive-block it. If we used a defensive blade, we can put the blade vertical to the table, but if it was an offensive blade, we have to close the blade a bit according to the spin that came. Otherwise, you'll get the ball bouncing off the table. Using this method, the harder and spinier the ball that comes, the more deadly the ball goes back to the attacker.

    Which one do you like the most?

      I would say if you wanted to stay within 1m of the table as much as possible the antispin was definitely preferred. But since I wanted to play further back in the end, the long pips was a no brainer.

    Thanks for this insight. I play OX (previously DTechs) Hellfire X and I like it. However played a guy with the anti last night and was stuffed. As ever in TT, it makes you think “should I switch?” But your comments about away from the table and the attacking side have made my mind up to stay with the pimples. Thanks again.

    I am never impressed with stage play. Notice the guy in orange is pushing one then looping the next. That is the safe way to play against rubbers with spin "reversal".

      It was a training drill though so it was kinda meant to be like that. If it's a match it would be very different. There is some match play on my channel vs him with me using Dtecs if you want to see it

    Men , antistin can return ball without spin and different power , pimples cannot. It is main different

    Please make the same video with the same camera angle and both rubbers passive block without any movement like the blocks with D.Tecs. Otherwise it’s just not compareable. Thank you

      Yh sorry about that, unfortunately I had to move the camera since there was coaching on the other table. I got a new vid up with same angle so you can check that if you want

    Il telaio ( che ho anche io ) non è la scelta migliore ne per antispin ne per questo tipo di puntino lungo. Ti consiglio di provare qualche Matador sempre di Dr Neubauer.

    I really enjoyed your video I'm also antispin player as well. I just wanted to ask..my did you opt to use a hard frictionless anti like the abs 2 Evo rather than a classical anti like the yasaka antispin or the nittaku best anti?

    • @ndragon88
      @ndragon88  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Well tbh I have never tried anti so I wanted something as close to Dtecs so wanted frictionless. It may or may not have been the best choice but I won't be purchasing anything else to try. I'm gonna film some more tomorrow and make youtube vid hopefully this weekend again

    Gutes Video. Holz ist ein Stiga Allround Classic oder?

    • @ndragon88
      @ndragon88  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. Although I wouldn't recommend this blade if you will be BH dominant. Other blades will give you more control and reversal. This is just what equipment I had at the time
