i also like Stand By You but my absolute fav ace`s song is Clover. and one of my favs of all time)) not only cause of great harmonies, great melody, airy vocals etc. i realy realy love the lyrics. my two biases Junhee and WOW wrote it. this lyrics make my eyes teary almost everytime i hear Clover. one of the sweetest songs EVER. last few years was the darkest for me (i`m Ukrainian and you probably know what happened in Ukraine). and this song helps me a LOT, it always brings me comfort. especialy i like one line `no one can defeat you, i`ll protect you from here`, and i truly believe that horrible situation in my motherland can`t defeat me. as a fan i`m their Clover and they`re my Clover too, they support me a lot and they protect me for real

HJZM an insane album top to bottom musically, concept wise, aesthetic its actually crazy to me that anyone put it out let alone a smaller group and OMG you have to see the "Baby Tonight" It's Live performance it actually ruined my life 😭. So did the "Stand By You" Rooftop Live actually. Also Junhee wrote Clover and he's almost insufferable about it in a good way and clovers have come to represent choice 🥹 fans buy him clothes or jewelry w clovers on it all the time and he wears them its so cute
The story behind Clover is that while Junhee was writing it, he asked fans for lyric suggestions during his livestream, so CHOICE played a part in shaping the lyrics. As for Stand By You, it’s a fan song from 2020 during the COVID period, when A.C.E was supposed to meet CHOICE. The song reflects the feelings of longing for CHOICE and the message of standing side by side with them through the challenges of COVID. The album had already been in preparation since February 2020 and was close to being released. However, since the pandemic wasn’t ending, they released Stand By You first in June and later released Favorite Boys in August.
