I saw a reactor describe Underwater like being hit by a wave. the soft chorus is when you are floating above the water and then the drop is when the wave drags you down and tumbles you. The flow and turbulence in a wave.
Underwater is actually my favorite kpop song of all time. Words cannot express how much I love that sing. It reminds me of jumping off a diving board (but also a metaphore for falling in love) when it's fun a exciting and then you take the jump, find out how far you are from the surface and panic, then breach the surface and realize you're okay.
no bc when i first heard that breakdown in heart attack i literally had to pause and get up like "OKAYYYY ITS GIVING TROY BOLTON REALNESS SLAYYY" and i ATEEEE it up omg it was my favorite monsta x song for awhile 😭
changkyun MURDEREDDDD his verse too ✋🙂↕️🤚 and i think its a track where they really utilized minhyuks versatile vocal range to really lush out harmonies bc he was KILLING it on both low and high harmonies ugh my king 🤞

Heart attack is personally such a good song to listen to while working out lol. And I love changkyun's rap in that song, he sounds so playful and I think it's one of his fastest rap :D

SUCH a good album 🤩 One of my top MX albums! Underwater totally threw me for a loop when I first heard it, I loved the verses but the juxtaposition of the chorus was a bit too much for me at first...but the song grew on me and now its one of my favorite MX songs ever 😩👐🏼 The artistry is INSANE. Like others have said, it captures that feeling of being dragged underwater by waves (aka love) and it's just *CHEF'S KISS* 🤌🏼

Ah, the lyrics for 널 하다(I do love you) frustrate me, but I do understand that they are really hard to translate. Literally, 널 하다 (neol hada) means "I do you". But like expressing "you" as a verb, rather than the dirty english connotation haha. There's also little mistakes here and there but I'll go past it.
