So great to see my city featured. I live on Pittodrie Street so I can hear the roar of the stadium during match day. It’s brilliant ! Thanks for the brilliant video :)
Just found your channel a week or so ago, and am enjoying having a look through, especially with not actually getting to games at the moment. I will say, Aberdeen for me WAS the coldest I have ever been at a football match. Livingston drew 2-2 with Aberdeen in a league game Think it was March but it felt like the dead of Winter. to make matters worse we had to wait on the bus after the game good job we drew nothing worse that heading home after a defeat.
Aberdeen's run to the CWC final was pretty impressive in itself in that they beat Bayern Munich too in the Quarters and absolutely thumped Waterschei in the semis at Pittodrie (Gaelic for place of manure btw or Shit heap if you prefer :P). Its worth watching the Quarter Final Pittodrie leg (its on youtube) just for THAT free kick. Amazing how many of that Dons team became successful managers too.
Not even a minute in, but I love how you already showed off the sea. I love the beach here (even though it's way colder than I'm used to oof). Quite fun seeing someone take clips around the city, on such a (rare) nice weather too.

I remember my first time at Pittodrie was on a Friday night a few years ago as a visiting hibs fan. Was the wettest and windiest game of football I've ever been to, doesn't help that the away section is wide open to the elements. Defo worthy of being the coldest ground In Britain.
I can confirm that it wasn't completely covered when they were claiming 'first all covered' . There was a section opposite the main stand between the Beach End , and whatever the enclosure opposite the main stand is called, that was open to the elements. I know, I sat there once, and froze my cheenies off due to the wind blowing in from the North Sea. Pitoddrie ? Dump! Enjoyed the video mate, keep them coming......from a 'Gers fan.
You'll have to come back up once in our new home. I'm gutted we're leaving Pittodrie. This great football team has given me a lot of great memories last 29 years. European stuff against FC Copenhagen (a 4-0 win) and the Bayern Munich 2-2 Last 32 of UEFA Cup during 2007-08 season then three drawn matches FK Shkendija (0-0), HNK Rijeka (2-2), Kairat Almaty (1-1) in 2015 plus Burnley 1-1 (2018) some of my favourite kind of memory.

Hey mate, a bit of background, the Merkland end is the family stand now, but the turnstiles there let you in to the South Stand as well, and generally speaking most fans would walk down Merkland Road from King St if coming to the game on foot, as they would go to the pub for a few pints first (The Pittodrie Bar) which is on King St. The main entrance is at the Main Stand (sure you know all this by now). The Richard Donald Stand or the 'The Beach End' is the newer stand (still about 30 years old though!!) The Main Stand is the oldest, you can see on the roof of it that its pretty old apart from two sections which has a slightly newer roof, that was due to a fire that broke out one Friday night before a game the following day. My grandfather was on duty that night and helped put the fire out.
So glad you made it to Pittodrie, yes it used to be the manure dump for police horses, and so glad you went onto the Broad Hill, was always told you've not truly been to see a game at Aberdeen as a Don's fan until you've crossed the broad hill to and from a game and walked down the Merkland Road(one with the granite facade).

Another great vid mate, as an away supporter I have walked over that hill many times as the away support buses usually park the other side of the hill.
