Project: The Perceiver is a multiplatform Chinese open-world action game developed by Papergames' 17ZHE Studio.
The game explores clashing beliefs in a fantasy world. Experience a chaos-ridden world and meet a variety of characters as the Master of Varietas. Consolidate their distinctive ideals into masks, and engage in the fiercest battles.

Wukong Black Myth and then now this? Dam, these new devs are really stepping up their games. Props to them and hope it makes it out to the world along with Wukong.
There also ghost of Tsushima/ wolong fallen dynasty still demo / Code: To Jin Yong. They are amazing just like this one too . But the problem here they are slplit into different platforms and thats annoying.
But most of the games arent even launched yet how much time they will take

i am so excited for this. this is one of the most beautiful displays of wuxia I have ever seen. That three prong attack... i mean. absolutely beautiful. I hope that once this finally comes out it posses the same look and feel of this. This could be a classic

This right here is the highlight of this video. The entire concept and importance of masks in theatre plays. If you can switch appearance and moveset with this mask system, that'd be pretty dope.

I'm more into the lore stuff and the animation linked to the character changing his mask to play another character.

I think there is a misunderstanding about this game.This game is a pure Chinese style game. All the materials can be found in the corresponding cultural relics in China. The action is also original. Architecture in East Asia originated in China, not in Japan. Don't think that as long as there are swords and fights in the game, it is plagiarism. Before the appearance of Sekiro, China already had this type of computer game, such as Sword of Legends（古剑奇谭） and Legend of Sword and Fairy（仙剑奇侠传）.
No but animation and sound effect of clashing swords are exactly from Sekiro(go play it and tell me im wrong), and that's fine since Sekiro combat suits it. I agree though the art style and environment design while similar, shouldn't be compared to other games like Ghost of Tsushima or such cause they're just typical Chinese fantasy aesthetic.

WOW. China's game developers are really making great progress. They are gradually getting rid of the shadow from cheap mobile and webgame and gradually moving towards quality AAA games.

Chinese games have always been strong, but it is more profitable to make mobile games in China, and they are rarely willing to invest in stand-alone games.
China never really had a real game market until the last decade and even then the single player market was tiny. Now that it is expanding, we will see more and more AAA budget games.
Visually very impressive! Hopefully that's active parry mechanic and not something automatic or a toggle. Either way, looking forward to this one.
I'm both a Game,Movie and Anime lover since I was kid..tbh, my favourite type in Video game is definitely a game that have Japanese and Chinese elements in it especially Historical Buildings, Dynasty,Empire, Warriors, Weapons and their vibe..I think I like them because I love their History and Mythological folklore

Very pretty. Ghost of Tsekiro. To be honest though, the black feather cape at the beginning sent me into a Bloodborne reverie where all I wanted was a Bloodborne 2 or new gen visual remake like Demon's Souls and TLOU got.
Demon Souls remake has only high quality texture and virant colors but lack of unique style, atmosphere compared to the OG . Its so generic and a factory product

Wow project the perceiver oozes with style, elegance, and ferocity. This truly has me hyped with black myth wulong.
Woooooooooow...outstanding gameplay, Marvillous Sound effects and Animation.....Welldone..really welldone
l think one of the greatest parts of this masterpiece its the sound FX, l can literally feel the metal from the sword combat as it was a perfectly crafted weapon made out of the finest materials in the ancient china and smith by a legendary forger, not only this but the clear difference between hand to hand or even different armor when you hit them cant be more accurate imo. l dont recall seeing anything like it, and honestly many times l get enraged as why so many developers dont seem to care by this obvious differences at all, or even making good quality effects, in the sound department. l pray for this game to come out some day and not being bought by some greedy company that doesnt want competition, like many times before when an incredible game just disappears out of nowhere

This looks like bushido blade. Limb system sword fighting back in the day. That was an incredible game ahead of its time.

我想大家对于抄袭是否有误解，这款游戏是纯正的中国风游戏，所有的素材在中国100%可以找到文物证明，动作也是原创的。东亚的建筑起源于中国，而不是日本。不要认为只要游戏中存在刀剑和打架就是抄袭。在只狼出现之前，中国已经有这一类型的电脑游戏了，比如古剑奇谭

画风以及 景物.人物等 倒是其次。游戏整体风格 十分类似只狼 这么认为也是无可厚非了吧 ？ 你非要说 素材相似 其实不仅素材 整体风格 与只狼极为相似 不仅仅是 某个地方。
其实也无所谓 只要游戏上市后 游戏大受好评 这些都无所谓了。 但如果 口碑不好 抄袭这个恶名就要扣在脑袋上了。
感谢你们英语好的去解释，但其实也不用太在意，只要中国人把游戏做好了，老外对中国游戏的印象慢慢就会改观的。这个游戏不管是故事还是风景，都非常棒，希望不是画饼！~
其實戰鬥系統也很像隻狼，比如格擋方式，刀與刀碰撞，我玩過隻狼，能說這款打擊感不如隻狼
@@user-fm4ux5xs7g我觉得国内游戏市场能有往这方面靠拢的想法就已经是一个不错的转变了，能被拿来和顶级的只狼比较说明它做的已经不错了，我们起步晚，我觉得前期有一些借鉴并不是大问题，会越来越好的😊
画面很美 剧情在介绍影片看 感觉应该还行 打斗还挺酷的 希望操作与优化不要太拉倒就行了 是个佳作

雖然很像隻狼 但只要能做得好玩 說不定我也買來玩看看 故事大概是唐代滅亡 後的故事 主角的武器叫唐橫刀(唐刀)
是日本武士刀的祖先 畢竟我也有一把😊

Interesting. Its parry mechanics look nearly as good as Sekiro's.
This is how this gen of fighting games with a block button should be with full blocking animations. How awesome would fighting games be if blocks actually had animations that flowed like this. Next gen upcoming fighting games should take note. The stupid block with just ur arms up has been used for far too long. Decades now! Time for a change me thinks. This game looks insane. Hopefully it will come to PC eventually.
So im definitely getting this game! Looks great! Only thing I think is missing is a little blood to make it more realistic. I think then it may top Ghost Of Toshima. But hey if they want to keep it PG 13 im fine with that! But since we're already at this ultra realism...why not throw some blood effects in there lol

Yeah, the bloodier the better
The Chinese government does not allow video games to be full of blood unless the blood is changed to green and peacefully waves goodbye to you after the enemy dies

It's pretty but I really wish they would add blood when striking enemies like how Ghost of Tsushima does. At least make it look more realistic and each strike feel satisfying. The combat just doesn't feel satisfying when killing an enemy like ghost does.

Yes, it's how I perceived Tang dynasty.
There are few hundred millions of Chinese gamers. There is no reason Chinese developers cannot push hard and develop a truly Chinese Wuxia games and win the market.
Wuxia is mainstream in China, so it wont win the chinese market, maybe the international market, Wuxia is becoming more and more popular globally, so it is but logical it targets the international market instead of domestic.
They shouldve added those overly dramatic anti gravity moves like their movies when their balancing on lily pads or running on falling leaves to gain altitude.
I wish rurouni kenshin has its own game like this. This game main char is just like kenshin when he was battosai.

ghost of tsushima is about mongolian invasion, so if someone makes a game, it has to stop there, and no other game can create another game again with a different story? you are very shallow.

@@brianbailey1681 You exposed yourself. Ghost of Tsushima was set in actual part of japanese history. The ghost was a japanese samurai infiltrating behind mongolian enemy lines which were about to invade Japan, it literally was about the mongolian invasion of Japan. Ghost of Tsushima had a very bland combat style, which incorporated samurai katana swordsplay. This however obviously incorporates chinese wushu kungfu style, which is more dynamic and action oriented, to say that it is similar shows you are not well cultured. Also it is not hard that the Art style is the same, because Japanese culture was modeled after China, ofcourse they have similar Art duhhh.
