I am really confused by the sleeveless isolation gowns. Goes against the infection control practices I have learned. Can anyone explain?

In my infection prevention and control long sleeve and anything pass the elbow really is a health hazard

Its disgusting that GPs don't visit when nurses carry on doing their job and no one can get appointments at local surgeries yet the GPs continue on full pay. Why on earth did they bother to qualify. Oh i know great profits and massive pensions

@Sen484 most of the GPs may as well join the disreputable finance and Banking sectors for all the good they have done for their patients since December 2019. They have forgotten the phrase " first do no harm" applies to their patients not themselves. The NHS GP partner profit shares i have witnessed have been ample reward for the effort expended. The NHS pension scheme has been the best on the market with the dynamization of career earnings factor, lump sum and spouse benefits although I admit there have been changes these past few years to make it less attractive and cushy.

Hello, I am from Algeria, I am 27 years old. A graduate of the University of Algiers, he obtained a Master's degree 02 in General Philosophy. But I like the profession of a patient's assistant or a patient's companion or caring for the infirm. I have 6 years experience in this field. Among the services that I provide are (personal hygiene. Meals I prepare myself. I provide medicine on time. Provide sports classes. Physical rehabilitation is able to do so) What is the way to immigrate? Engaging in nursing homes. Or work in hospitals. Even homes.

I would say applie for a student visa and do a degree here. In England if you complete a a university degree you get to work full time on a 2 years visa, if you do well in your job and Don't do any illegal issues you can apply for a longer visa that let you live here as much as you want. The only issue is to have lots of money while you're doing your degree, because international students are not allowed to work long hours

Thank you for this advice. My problem is that there is a difficulty in applying for a visa. I have tried and tried. But nothing. I want to know if there is some way to get involved in this business so that there are facilities that will enable me to get the visa and work directly. I know it's hard, but trying is a beautiful thing

I’m doing a level 1 course in preparing to work in adult social care. I can get a interview as a HCA in a hospital or as a carer in a care home. I have one quick question do carers in a care home have to wash and iron peoples clothes? I’m asking because I suck at ironing haha.
