I disagree. I think it showed that this team still has difficulty breaking bunkers. I don't see how Lloyd playing would have helped the team in that respect. Maybe she would have finished a chance but I don't think she actually helps the US break defenses down.
I don't know why Jill Ellis chose Allie Long, I've never seen any good from Allie Long... Allie Long can't play in the midfield, can't be a defender... whenever she got the ball, It looks like she doesn't know what to do, she doesn't know how the situation around ... Have a look at Lindsey Horan, she's the best midfielder of the world at all time...
