Well first off we have to start with speak to a Dr or a specialist! But when I had issues with this a few years ago, my main issue ended up being bad work shoes. I was wearing good running shoes but spending 8+ hours a day in cheap ones. Idk that I have any tips pitside of the general, change up or try some new shoes, or get fitted for inserts. Definitely check with your local running store and see what they say.
I’m registered for Dopey 2025, but struggle sometimes with pain in my knee. This is mostly controlled with physio but I also had COVID in week 2 of my training and lost most of 3 of 4 weeks in training. Would you recommend trying to get in extra miles/time to make up for lost training or just let it go and pick up on the current scheduled week?
@Cherylsquiltycorner just try and pick up where you need to be, or adjust to somewhere in the middle. If you're going to have issues, earlier is way better and gives you a lot of time to get back into it.
Hey Lake bad July for me as well had to stop running for couple weeks for some back issues but back at it now. Thanks for updating see ya at wine and dine
I've done a few Rock n Roll races (Nashville & Savannah) and didn't like them. Oh my gosh, I was just out in Duluth last week and said I want to do Grandma's next year!
We were on the road during the live broadcast. Training is going well here. I am doing my first full marathon locally two weeks before W&D. Combined over two weeks will be my “budget Dopey.” Wine&Dope?
Any tips on recovering from plantar fasciitis?

A breakdown now is better than later! Still plenty of time to get there! See you soon!
