Hi I would like to do the same retrofit on my x3 2015 with halogen lights, but to use the projector mounted in the high beam area also for low beam. Is it possible to aim both of them in the same spot with OEM adjustments? and should I wire them in parallel or in series with the OEM connector? Thanks!
You could fit a bixenon or bi-led unit inside the high beam. Just need to chose a compact projector in the "H1" size. Yes you can still have them leveling together just like we did here. Wiring wise you need a relayed wiring harness to power up the additional projector in the high beam if you use HID. If you use LED should be fine to wire together off stock wiring.
Ah man.. this is what exactly Ive been wanting to do on my x3. What did you do for the drl bulb and the parking light bulb in the main reflector? Thanks for sharing!!

DRL is wired to the halos now. Same with Parking lights.
