3:23 Matt asking Sona if she wants to apologize to Conan for any of this after he explains his many bits he’s done to her is the funniest part of this video!
Next level comedy when Conan turns Sona’s random comment about the sun into a bit where he speaks as the sun 😂 I’m dying lol. Listening/watching Conan has been one of life’s great pleasures for the last 30 years.
Somebody needs to apologize to somebody so I'm just gonna go ahead and say sorry" That's some real middle child of divorced parents energy there, Gourley
This never gets old. I loved the bit with the TBS HR lady, when Sona brings up the stealing thing, then prompting tells us all of the times she actually stole things in her life, LOLOLOLOL.
“I don’t steal!” “I mean, I’ve stolen some things..” “She’s my assistant! And she has a block about assisting me!” “I’m not passive-aggggggrrrrrrrrrrresive…” Great bit
Gourley did such a great job in this segment. He basically took the role of the guy who just wants apologies to happen...so much so that he doesn't care who makes them or whether they're warranted.
I truly hope you guys never stop doing what you do best. Conan, you were never meant to be the next Leno. You had the 12: 35 audience. It's an edgier crowd. Your show was always less corporate to me. You weren't trying to cater to the masses. Your show was picking on the medium of the talk show, by picking on itself. But at the same time, you've always been incredibly respectful of your guests, without having your head up their a**. Thank you for being yourself, and for your tenacity.
The moment right at the start where Sona ask Gourley "What are you doing?" and Gourley says "I don't know" is so thoroughly sweet I just want to hug all of them... :-)))
Oh god dam ... I haven't had a belly laugh like that in years when she said "You patted my head, smelled your hand and said .... mmmmm garlic." Oh my GOD.
“She has so many memories of my good bits” Conan is giving Bison telling Chun Li, “to you it was the day Bison graced your village; for me it was Tuesday.”
There's a magical element to podcasting where bits that come from genuine conversation (e.g. the sun apologizing) is hilarious. However, if I saw that same bit produced in a live-action sketch ala SNL I just might roll my eyes around and click off halfway through. It's like recapturing a lightning in a bottle.
Conan: "Oh, it's so fun! Have you seen me do that? Sona gets her hair in a bun and I take a whack at it. And if I do it just right, the little elastic goes 'kah-tweeweeweehn!' And the hair goes 'pah-paaang!' And it fills the whole room you are in it, right? It's so much fun!"
Conan should do some episodes where he catches up with the crew of his old show just to see how they are doing. And then it'd be cool if they hit him up for cash right there on the show. haha
i don't think he avoids it, unlike other celebs I think is actually a geninue person who isn't out to take advantage of anyone.@@inappropriate_comments
Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how much of a knockout Sona is? I mean, she had twins and still looks like that AND has the mind to keep up with Conan. Shut up and take my alimony!
Conan still doing non stop comedy bits. Am I the only one that thinks Conan is so much more interesting (and still very funny) when he's just relaxed and being himself? He's super smart and has so much more to offer but even on a podcast where he should feel more relaxed and human, he still comes off as uncomfortable and self conscious, in constant fear of dead air without a joke every 2 seconds. I wish he would finally mature like a Letterman or Jon Stewart and realize he doesn't have to try so hard
Sona's face at 6:06, lmao 😂😂 so deliciously sheepish -trying to hold back a mischievious smile cuz she knows he's right but doesn't want to admit it 😄. It's funny, as soon as she said that, I literally thought the exact same thing before Conan even said it (that he pays her salary, has provided her an awesome opportunity), so I was thrilled when he went that direction and even phrased it hilariously.
Indeed! And I love the fact that he ends this section with that truly heart-felt statement about her and their relationship, punctuated by "my lawyer made me remember this" for even greater emphasis and hilarity and then the discussion winds up at Conan suddenly demanding an apology from Gourley to him and Sona!
I know I've heard this, I haven't watched it yet... but I just cracked up reading the title of this clip. I giggled like an idiot. God, I love these people.
I usually hate commercials, but I loved the Squarespace commercial... I'm glad they have a sense of humor and Conan and sona were hilarious. Bleigh was laughing his ass off and so was I

I was thinking if laughter is the best medicine Conan is making Sona immortal, but I think it’s cancelled out by the rage he induces in her.
A lot of fake laughter in that
He actually drugs his staff and siphons their blood, which incidentally is the best medicine.
Nah, it's the garlic that'll keep her going.
Sona asked if Conan should apologize too....
"Listen, that can be another segment and I don't think we have time for it."😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love how Sona immediately attacks.
She is a debate champion 😂
It's been 14 years, she knew where it was going
Strong fierce woman queen for sho ma dude.
Sona has great bits that she disguises as not-bits. Also, whenever he gets Sona laughing, you can tell Conan is at his happiest.
As great as Conan was on network talk show circuits he really found his calling in the free wheeling, extemporaneous format of podcasting.
That has to be the most impressive use of a word I never knew existed. And I highly agree.
Exactly....he's too witty for anyone to hold him down. Wasted talent
Absolutely, I feel that he has had more attention here than when he was in Turner

I agree. It seems like an Andy Richter moment, saying a quick line for maximum effect and getting out of the way.

Her father carved her brother out of wood lol that’s hilarious 😂
"Your father looks like geppetto" is such a specific read

That Sun impression is spot on.
The best part of this crew is that they are so tight, the notion of owing apologies is in itself a joke.
