That was WILD. Never in herstory has a queen been told to dim their sparkle to let others shine. Could you imagine miss silky being told to tone it down because she’s emoting too much? By the other queens who are jealous maybe, but never the judges.
IMO one reason Nina won over Vanjie in the Diva Worship challenge is because Nina was actually playing a character while Vanjie (hilarious as she is) was pretty much just her usual self.

back when as6 was airing and ginger won, I didn't see anything wrong with it bc I was just like yea she did well. then after watching all these videos I realized how crazy it was to name a group that did the best and then say anyways ginger is the winner lol like to avoid that they could've just announced ginger as the winner right away and judged everyone individually
Every season would turn out *pretty* differently if they'd announce how the team challenges will be judged *before* the challenge. The way it is now, the team challenges are the ultimate safety net for the producers, because they can see how everyone did and then decide how to judge based on who they want to save or see in the bottom.
The fact that Baby was only safe in the girl group challenge will always be upsetting. Especially cause she did better than every member of the winning team
I'm starting to formulate my thoughts for my own What If S7 wasn't rigged. So far I have Miss Fame getting eliminated in episode 2, btm6 for the ShakesQueer, Jaidynn winning the Spoof challenge, Pearl getting eliminated somewhere instead of being top 3... lots more to change lol!

i'm not as angry about the UK4 girl groups thing just because it makes most sense with how i personally would judge that challenge. since everyone is working on their verses and choreo and looks together, it makes sense to judge the groups based on overall teamwork and presentation instead of singling out one winner, especially when that one winner is from the weaker team. that's what makes AS6 pink table talk, AS5 hotel room, and S11 magic show judging so infuriating-the judges say which group was the best but then either pick a winner from a weaker group OR say which group is the best but send home someone from that winning group. do i think Baby was the best in the whole episode? yeah. but at the same time, i can't help but think that fandom would probably also get upset if we _did_ live in the timeline where Baby got a solo win despite Queens of the Bone Age overall having the better product than Tripe Threats. i could be wrong (though there's always pockets of fandom that are angry no matter what lol). though i think we can all agree that in any timeline, it's still buck wild that the girl group challenge was in EPISODE 2. will never not be insane that by the time episode 3 aired, 70% of the queens in the competition at that point had earned badges.
FINALLY someone who agrees Deja should've won over Bosco. Bosco did great don't get me wrong, but it seemed like a one woman show, whereas Deja was leading a whole ass panel, which feels like a PANEL

(Eve also should have been low, not in the bottom 2)

DR France hasn’t been discussed here, but I would say that I didn’t understand the judging in the girl group neither. Team « The Nails » was obviously the best one (Soa or Lolita being the winner, Elips being safe) and « Les sœurs Jacquettes » should have been the bottom 3 (no cohesion, lyrics were meh, choreo was messy). Elips lipsyncing (and .. spoiler alert… sashaying) even though she was in the best team (she also really tried to get out of her comfort zone) was BS… They just saw her as disposable (because she was more quiet, not the first time we see it in DR) and they didn’t want to let Paloma, LGD or Big Bertha go at that point.

Talking about season 14: I think that Deja deserved to win the panels challenge, but production was SO over her and wanted to push Bosco so much. Not because they didn't want Deja to succeed, but because Bosco had more storyline. I LOVE DEJA, she deserved so much wins and so much love(I think her and Betty are the only one queens from s14 that I follow on Instagram) but I think that she won Snatch Game just because she was the only one that didn't bomb, production would have never give her the win if the other queens did great. Deja would eat on an All Star season, and I hope production let us have it

Baby was not robbed. There was a predetermined format for UK. Break Up Bye Bye was judged in groups, UK Hun was judged in groups, BDE was judged in groups SO COME ALIVE WAS JUDGED IN GROUPS. Baby picked the team she thought was gonna win, got arrogant and cocky and let her entire team fall apart so therefore didn't do her job as team captain-
That six way win in the uk4 girl groups challenge was a choice. Baby didn't prove to be a good leader for her team, so I agree Dakota should have been given the solo win for that episode. I also think the pairs challenge should have been judged in teams. Cheddar was clearly the best of the bottom four, but I think her and Copper worked well together, even if I didn't like Copper's look. They should have put Pepper and JB into the bottom together in my opinion.
It's the overlooking the favoritism towards Kim Chi in bitch perfect and the political campaigns for me. She wasn't great in the RuCo acting challenge either. Kim Chi made it to the final three her season bc of her look and popularity on line. She could only serve a look. In Bitch Perfect Laila didn't do bad & was praised by Jamal. It was put out there that Michelle said she picked a character who couldn't dance, but it's also clear she can't dance. So how is it a character? This is after we established that she also couldn't walk in heels. With the political campaigns the queens were not informed that it would be judged in pairs until after the deliberations. So in Untucked you see Bob & Chi Chi coaching Kim Chi on how to perform the song. And Kim sad about likely being in the bottom. When it's announced that the bottom is Chi Chi & Thorgy, Chi Chi is in confessional flat out saying she doesn't deserve to be in the bottom. Then the next episode opens with the queens thinking that Derrick didn't deserve to win. Then there's "The Realness" music video. Before then every season that did a video had to learn choreography for the video. However for season 8 the queens basically had to pose in drag, sit looking in a mirror, and do "choreo" laying flat on their backs. Something where Kim Chi still managed to fall. After S8 we went back to queens having to learn choreo for a final performance and even write lyrics. It's reasonable they did this bc they knew one of their finalists couldn't pick up choreo to save her life. See: Bitch Perfect. I don't think any of those are coincidences and I have been saying it for 6 years that Kim Chi was favored.
UK4 is a weird season for me because not only do I think that SIX PEOPLE out of an 11 person group all winning a badge immediately lowered any kinds of stakes, the entire season was essentially the Danny & Cheddar show, and I must admit when they didn’t both win I was a little disappointed.
I don't think UK4 girl group was that bad wins are only really exist for storylines anyway their not a reliable metric for performance. What I don't get is why they didn't just split them into 3 groups instead 🤷 have Dakota and pepper pick their 3 other teammates and then Ru stops them and we have a true bottom of the barrel underdog team of 3 that noone wanted or ya kno just do the girl group later

Honestly, girl groups in the UK are always for team work and the Queens of the Bone Age were excellent as a team. Baby may have been the best, but she was not a good leader and her team was not in tune.
To me, Baby not getting the win is the most upsetting, because she murdered every aspect of the girl group challenge like barely anyone else before and then she got paid dust. I would kinda be okay with it, if the winning group had a queen being another standout, but they didn't. They all did good, but no one even came close. Actually the second best was Black Peppa. I thought they wanted to get rid of Baby after that episode, but then she won the next and is still in the competition. It makes no sense. I am also over giving the whole group a win. River should have been the winner last season and Tayce in UK hun.

Baby picked the team she thought was gonna win, got arrogant and cocky and let her entire team fall apart so therefore didn't do her job as team captain-

That six way win in the uk4 girl groups challenge was a choice. Baby didn't prove to be a good leader for her team, so I agree Dakota should have been given the solo win for that episode. I also think the pairs challenge should have been judged in teams. Cheddar was clearly the best of the bottom four, but I think her and Copper worked well together, even if I didn't like Copper's look. They should have put Pepper and JB into the bottom together in my opinion.

It's the overlooking the favoritism towards Kim Chi in bitch perfect and the political campaigns for me. She wasn't great in the RuCo acting challenge either. Kim Chi made it to the final three her season bc of her look and popularity on line. She could only serve a look.
In Bitch Perfect Laila didn't do bad & was praised by Jamal. It was put out there that Michelle said she picked a character who couldn't dance, but it's also clear she can't dance. So how is it a character? This is after we established that she also couldn't walk in heels.
With the political campaigns the queens were not informed that it would be judged in pairs until after the deliberations. So in Untucked you see Bob & Chi Chi coaching Kim Chi on how to perform the song. And Kim sad about likely being in the bottom. When it's announced that the bottom is Chi Chi & Thorgy, Chi Chi is in confessional flat out saying she doesn't deserve to be in the bottom. Then the next episode opens with the queens thinking that Derrick didn't deserve to win.
Then there's "The Realness" music video. Before then every season that did a video had to learn choreography for the video. However for season 8 the queens basically had to pose in drag, sit looking in a mirror, and do "choreo" laying flat on their backs. Something where Kim Chi still managed to fall. After S8 we went back to queens having to learn choreo for a final performance and even write lyrics. It's reasonable they did this bc they knew one of their finalists couldn't pick up choreo to save her life. See: Bitch Perfect.
I don't think any of those are coincidences and I have been saying it for 6 years that Kim Chi was favored.
UK4 is a weird season for me because not only do I think that SIX PEOPLE out of an 11 person group all winning a badge immediately lowered any kinds of stakes, the entire season was essentially the Danny & Cheddar show, and I must admit when they didn’t both win I was a little disappointed.

What I don't get is why they didn't just split them into 3 groups instead 🤷 have Dakota and pepper pick their 3 other teammates and then Ru stops them and we have a true bottom of the barrel underdog team of 3 that noone wanted or ya kno just do the girl group later

I still think Jasmine and Jorgeous were by far the worst in the 60s challenge. Camden looked super old and Keri went a bit churchy, but they sounded good and it was kinda subtle.

Honestly, girl groups in the UK are always for team work and the Queens of the Bone Age were excellent as a team. Baby may have been the best, but she was not a good leader and her team was not in tune.

To me, Baby not getting the win is the most upsetting, because she murdered every aspect of the girl group challenge like barely anyone else before and then she got paid dust. I would kinda be okay with it, if the winning group had a queen being another standout, but they didn't. They all did good, but no one even came close. Actually the second best was Black Peppa.
I thought they wanted to get rid of Baby after that episode, but then she won the next and is still in the competition. It makes no sense.
I am also over giving the whole group a win. River should have been the winner last season and Tayce in UK hun.
