One thing I don’t see anyone mentioning is how impressive it is that he synced up audio to his actions. Those brush stroke sounds were added in after recording, so that’s very impressive. Not easy to do so well!

Hot diddly _damn!_ I thought that he just had like a transparant screen or something in front of the camera. That's next level amounts of effort to sync it up like that.
I love how he doesn't have any paint on his palette at all, and he does not give a single shit if you know it or not.

My favorite part of every Bob Ross show was when he named the colors for the painting and I loved that you included this in your videos.

Fantastic to see another Bob Ross roleplay, he's truly one of the first ASMRtists but of course at that time there wasn't a name for it. That fro is legendary though. Loved the way you used the brush on the camera as the canvas and of course you can tell you are a fan with the way you describe all the details (trees, moon, etc) lol. Can't wait to fall asleep to this one tonight.

Also, I must say that I love how simplistic this is. Bob used to say that these paintings are your imaginations. Your creations. So they must cater to you. The sky doesn't always have to be blue, it could be green! When you were painting, I was making a completely different painting in my mind. Thank you, Fred 💜

Not sure what you mean by that. Ross was very well known. Even today he's commonly considered to be among the likes of Mr. Rogers and Steve Irwin.

His vowels are different too. I hear the difference in his "a"s, mainly.
That's the detail
That's how north Americans sound to Brits, your hard 'R's' are the main difference. Southern accents are easier for us to imitate, more like our regional accents, I guess.

This is the single most creative way to be lazy I have ever seen. Doesn't actually have to put in the work and paint something. Lol love it.
Fred does a great job with this! The illusion of painting, the pace of the “show” and tone in his voice were spot on.
I remember watching Bob Ross when I was very young in the late 90s. I never knew they were reruns and that he had passed away. I was kind of devastated when I found out. Wonderful video as always.

This is perfect for asmr because Bob Ross was practically already doing asmr
I keep wanting to see an asmrtist put a piece of transparent glass in front of camera and actually paint/brush/interact with it. This way you don’t need to sync audio in post, and you can get that much more immersion for your canvas (us). Ever since Fred actually shaved a mic, I keep thinking he’s the one to actually paint on the “camera”.
Fastasmr has actually done this before, you should check it out, it’s pretty cool and relaxing as well

It's breaks my heart to know that Bob Ross passed away so young. However, I think it's so awesome that he was a master sgt in the Air Force. 🇺🇲🌄🏔️🖌️🎨
Fun fact: Bob Ross didn't like his afro but it was easy to maintain but then when he got a lot of attention and the afro was iconic he couldn't risk changing his hairstyle

Fred, SpectrumTV , Channel 1127 (here in LA) is Bob Ross 24/7. I mean, it's crazy. The channel is entirely dedicated to episodes of his show. You could just sit and watch it all day all night forever and ever. And sometimes we do. Days go by and we wake up drowning in drool, so relaxed it's like we swallowed a bottle of Valium.
Really solid voice man! Not only the accent but just how you replicated his demeanor down to the breathing is spot on from memory.
