- New coffee!
This round my coffee subscription service Bottomless sent me a bag from Four Barrel Coffee.
Coffee Details:
tasting notes: peach gummies, dried apricot, lemon, jasmine florality and crystal clear, sparkling acidity
From the Roaster:
“This is our first year buying from the Kiamwangi factory in Nyeri, and this lot from the Iria-ini Cooperative, composed of 550 farmers, blew us away with its gorgeously classic Kenya profile. Known for allowing their coffees to mature slowly, as well as for their deep red volcanic soil, Kiamwangi's cherries are extremely dense, creating a complex sparkling cup: peach gummies, dried apricot, lemon, jasmine florality and crystal clear, sparkling acidity.”

Thank you for watching. Please give the video a thumbs up and sub if you are not already! Let me know in the comments what coffee you're going through right now.
:) Thanks! I have a some short questions. I use my espresso machine, but today V60 is arive :).
In my daily espresso coffee - I do like you do - I take a break about 3 minutes after first water is dripping out. I notice - taste and caffeine is better/ more (like James Hoffman explained).
You use 2 watering sessions and long extraction. Over all - this coffee must be strong. How about "fruits"and acidity? Is it present too? Thank you! ☕
@@Ansis99 Congrats on your new V60. Yes, mostly with African coffees that are light roasted I get a lot of fruity and acidity when brewing. I really like brewing African coffees on the Chemex too. It produces a super clean tasting cup.
@@longcoffee :) 4 hours ago I try new V60 and yes! It is bright and acidic and round cup of coffee! Nice! Do you use Medium/ Fine settings or Coarse? I have no gooseneck tea can and first brew was not perfect but I understand something, which is good :).
@@Ansis99 yes I use medium- fine for pour overs. Glad your coffee tasted good!
@@longcoffee OK. Thank you! :)
