Ramatra is still thematically the coolest tank. He’s actually the raid boss of the lore, and probably would’ve been a dope ass final boss of the Overwatch story mode, if it actually existed
I could see Doomfist, Ramattra, Mauga, Reaper, and Moira all being final boss types if you were to take a completed story mode and split it up into parts
He's feels better than he did and will definitely be meta but he isn't broken you'll still be able to play other characters against him. So I don't think he'll get nerfed

Ram is honestly disgusting and underrated. He's definitely not OP but he has great poke, cc, and peel potential. If you're getting constantly exploded he's a great pick due to all the armor, damage reduction during block, and utility. If everyone on the enemy team is standing in the choke he's actually a great brawl buster as his space commands respect or he'll just demolish your backline. Blizz please don't nerf

totally random but i’ll never forget when i had a tank on ram throw the game for the enemy team because he was “too strong” instead of, you know, just switching off of him. i’ve never felt more defeated in my entire time of playing ow than i had in that specific match

She has everything a tank needs too, a barrier/obstacle to block enemies and los, self sustain with her ice block, a strong cc in her ultimate, hell she has good poke with her icicles. Wont even have to change much besides hp and hitboxes
Ice wall has great potential to peel for teammates or give your team the time to recoup, Ice block gives self sustain and can be used as an object teammates can hide behind for quick cover, her ultimate is a CC zoning freeze that forces space or takes it from enemies. . . Yet they chose the man who has a giant ass fist to be the newest tank in the roster?? She's already almost like a juggernaut with how hard she is to kill when she's properly supported, and the way it is now she's almost like having a second tank on any team, why can't they just rework her to fit with tank? (Although I don't know how they'd make hitboxes fair since for tank standards she is very small). I played Open Queue and played Mei, my whole team refused to tank, and I diffed A Mauga and Hog while using her. I was literally a better tank act keeping my team alive than both of them combined alongside the help of my supports, I just fail to see why they don't change her lmao.

Ramattra is what drew me into OV2, and ever since I unlocked him, I've been enjoying this character non-stop. I love his lore, his voice, the way he just feels whenever he's doing moves, I love it. Ramattra is by far my favorite OV2 character, and will remain in that status no matter what.
Btw can I just take a moment to appreciate Flats music choice in most of these videos The Genius Sonority Pokemon games (Colosseum, XD, and Battle Revolution) had some BALLER MUSIC just in general, not just Pokemon games

i played him last night got 5k damage one life and then e lost the point and i held overtime for like a minute with all my teammates dying in between. he’s still viable there’s just straight up better options. especially with all the mei players and kiriko now there’s just better things to play

I started playing at the last 20 days of s7 and i mean ram since i unlocked it, its hard to face some combos (specifically mauga) but i manage and i like the challenge and i just wanna say : i don't fight for my self, i never have, my team comes first.

Dont forget sparkly horse was also the first mount wirh dynamic mount speed, meaning 😅could be used by any of your characters. This was bound to inflate the nubmers. I do find it odd that sc2 made that little, considering how popular it was and how hyped it was before releasing

Would love to play rammatra in ranked, but u can't against mauga , he's forced to block at all times, even in his ult he spends the whole timer blocking , or and if he let's go, he blows up ,and if his team can't do their job, he blows up
Even though I only played tanks and it sucks now I played ramattra for the first time this season and he was really fun! His kit is great and I got play of the game lol. His ult is really scary but one of the best ones.
Wondering about people's opinions on this: Should Ramattra's E ability, ravenous vortex, be buffed? That's the ability that slows and drags down enemies on a 12 second cooldown. It also does a small amount of damage.
I farmed Ram into Masters this season, even into Maugas. There's some rank inflation probably, and he's hella busted right now with his buffs, but he isn't nearly as bad as he was the last 2 seasons or so. Arguably my favorite tank.
The only psychotic Ramattra buff I want is for his Slow to mute movement abilities. So no Reaper TP/Ghost, Moira Fade, Genji Dash or Doom Rocket Punch to escape.
Ram is probably my favorite tank besides rein. Having a "rotation" just feels good. Makes shield, punch, shield, punch. Keeps my apm high without thinking. The other tanks feel kinda ... Clunky and slow.
Though I don't play a lot of Ramattra, I have a lot of respect for the people who do, and I think he's one of the most fun and dynamic characters they've added thus far.
Ram is op against Mauga. Ramattra's block is the strongest thing ever, I outblocked diva and bastion shooting at me while they had kitsune's rush because both of my supports healed me
Ramattra has an even/possibly slightly favorable matchup against mauga when played as a poke tank, utilizing your shield to cut off mauga's ability to self heal and spamming him out with the high dps of your void accelerator, or spamming his backline and setting up your DPS for a pick then pushing in once he's lacking in support. The block is barely even relevant when dealing with most mauga comps, since he's still getting crits off on you for self sustain. It's useful for not dying on the spot and it's a good option if you need to back up or give your supports time to heal you, but it's just a oh shit button and not a major part of actually playing into a mauga.

Ram is my go to for poking and basically play into Rein or Sigma. I love to play him, but I just still think Block is a useless ability and needs to be tweaked or redone. It is only used when you're trying not to be exploded on, and it provides little benefit to the team as a whole. It basically wastes precious time on your transform and if they don't want to remove it, can we get it to provide some benefit like DF block. Either refund some of your time you spend transformed, because blocking is a waste of transformation, or empower the next ability. For example, if you block X amount of damage with it, you could see his punches empowered the next 4 seconds or something OR his Vortex ability will have a larger AOE both in width and height so you can finally take down the Phara in the sky maybe.... on top of that maybe it adds 4 seconds back to transformation, or there's a damage proportion to seconds like 10% damage is converted to seconds. Something that rewards using it, because I feel penalized when I turn big sometimes, as if I'm just trying to survive, not become a menace.
If I played ow2, I'd certainly play Ram. His design is pretty neat and I love that his ult is basically 'get the fuck in the fight'. But since I stopped before hid release, I'd have to either pay for him or grind it out. No idea how bad that grind is and if I'd even have the time to.
I'm a Ramattra main since I got back into OW, and I honestly don't know why almost no one plays him. I think there was a season where I saw more Balls and Dooms than Rams- He's super badass, fairly easy to pick, his voice is incredible, punching people is fun, does good dmg, kinda versatile, can be very tanky while still being fair to fight. He's not even a bad matchup against Mauga
I use Ram in poke comps. Yeah sigma does it better but off angling and drawing aggro that way lets my damage have space, and then I pop Nemesis form when they get close.
I play Ram all the time! He's only the Tank that I seem to get fewer deaths on. Tank is so incredibly hard to play these days, as support legit makes my life hell.
Yep. Ana needs changes. Same with how discord was/is unhealthy for a single tank. Being able to flatly deny healing is fucking busted when you only have 1 tank to look at. Same with kiri. She needs changes too. The power creep just hit critical mass quite a few seasons ago and weve continued charging the train straight off the cliff

Being a tank against her, is literally stress inducing! lol. Sometimes it's impossible to get anywhere in games, and I have DPS up my ass telling me to do better, and I'm I like, I wish I could do something but I can't!!! lol. I really miss 6v6 sometimes, just because some of the tanks are still not adjusted enough to be really tank alone in games, and still very much an off tank. Support are really OP now because of the one tank.
I usually play dps and support. I played one rank match of tank yesterday cus I wanted to play some Ram, enemy tank was playing Dva and as soon as they lost first fight they switched to Mauga. What could've been a fun game turned into a shitshow as soon as I switched to Mauga too (we won)
especially with Mauga being hard meta and being a terrible matchup for Ramattra, it feels like every game I get I can't do my job as tank while playing Ramattra, I'm always just sitting back waiting for bastion turret mode, discord LOS to be gone, ana to use sleep dart and nade, and I always get paired with a lucio mercy. It just feels like there's no point in playing him when evreyone clicks on the bastion guy or mei the zeptosecond they die to me in qp when i just wanna play my character and have fun
Ramattra is my favorite tank to play as. But the way people act now is nightmarish. Tanks are now somehow squishier than dps if they're not pocketed constantly
my best WoW friend bought me that sparkle pony as a gift, it was my 100th mount in WotLK and I opened it in ICC. Good times xD While the microtransaction stuff is true (I be a dipshit) you should also check how many people were playing WoW compared to the interest in SC2:WoL. It shouldn't be a surprise that the sparkle horse, at the time an almost unique model and skin (think Invincible was the only other winged horse at the time), made more money tbh. I do like Thor though, he's great.
I play him all the time, lol. But with Mauga in his current state why would I play Ram over Sig? Only time I actually get to play Ram is when they're not running Mauga (so basically never).

Either refund some of your time you spend transformed, because blocking is a waste of transformation, or empower the next ability.
For example, if you block X amount of damage with it, you could see his punches empowered the next 4 seconds or something OR his Vortex ability will have a larger AOE both in width and height so you can finally take down the Phara in the sky maybe.... on top of that maybe it adds 4 seconds back to transformation, or there's a damage proportion to seconds like 10% damage is converted to seconds. Something that rewards using it, because I feel penalized when I turn big sometimes, as if I'm just trying to survive, not become a menace.

I definitely enjoy playing him like his staff form is sooooo fun esp since they buffed the damage
Ramatra is my favorite tank to play and the buffs he got recently made him even better.
If I played ow2, I'd certainly play Ram. His design is pretty neat and I love that his ult is basically 'get the fuck in the fight'.
But since I stopped before hid release, I'd have to either pay for him or grind it out. No idea how bad that grind is and if I'd even have the time to.

I'm a Ramattra main since I got back into OW, and I honestly don't know why almost no one plays him. I think there was a season where I saw more Balls and Dooms than Rams- He's super badass, fairly easy to pick, his voice is incredible, punching people is fun, does good dmg, kinda versatile, can be very tanky while still being fair to fight. He's not even a bad matchup against Mauga

I use Ram in poke comps. Yeah sigma does it better but off angling and drawing aggro that way lets my damage have space, and then I pop Nemesis form when they get close.
I play Ram all the time! He's only the Tank that I seem to get fewer deaths on. Tank is so incredibly hard to play these days, as support legit makes my life hell.

Yep. Ana needs changes. Same with how discord was/is unhealthy for a single tank. Being able to flatly deny healing is fucking busted when you only have 1 tank to look at. Same with kiri. She needs changes too. The power creep just hit critical mass quite a few seasons ago and weve continued charging the train straight off the cliff
@@themanageriguess I agree! I'm actually a support main and love playing Ana... But when I'm on tank (I used to be a tank main in OW1) you really understand how much of a nerf she needs. Being a tank against her, is literally stress inducing! lol. Sometimes it's impossible to get anywhere in games, and I have DPS up my ass telling me to do better, and I'm I like, I wish I could do something but I can't!!! lol. I really miss 6v6 sometimes, just because some of the tanks are still not adjusted enough to be really tank alone in games, and still very much an off tank. Support are really OP now because of the one tank.

I usually play dps and support. I played one rank match of tank yesterday cus I wanted to play some Ram, enemy tank was playing Dva and as soon as they lost first fight they switched to Mauga. What could've been a fun game turned into a shitshow as soon as I switched to Mauga too (we won)

especially with Mauga being hard meta and being a terrible matchup for Ramattra, it feels like every game I get I can't do my job as tank while playing Ramattra, I'm always just sitting back waiting for bastion turret mode, discord LOS to be gone, ana to use sleep dart and nade, and I always get paired with a lucio mercy. It just feels like there's no point in playing him when evreyone clicks on the bastion guy or mei the zeptosecond they die to me in qp when i just wanna play my character and have fun
Ramattra is my favorite tank to play as. But the way people act now is nightmarish. Tanks are now somehow squishier than dps if they're not pocketed constantly

my best WoW friend bought me that sparkle pony as a gift, it was my 100th mount in WotLK and I opened it in ICC. Good times xD
While the microtransaction stuff is true (I be a dipshit) you should also check how many people were playing WoW compared to the interest in SC2:WoL. It shouldn't be a surprise that the sparkle horse, at the time an almost unique model and skin (think Invincible was the only other winged horse at the time), made more money tbh.
I do like Thor though, he's great.

I play him all the time, lol. But with Mauga in his current state why would I play Ram over Sig? Only time I actually get to play Ram is when they're not running Mauga (so basically never).
