Tell everyone about this new farm! See how I design all my farms from scratch during my livestreams (Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun 2pm ET): www.twitch.tv/raysworks ►Farm Everything bit.ly/FarmEverything
I've just searched up a cobweb farm for a map art and it popped up being a day old, loved your stuff for ages. I asked myself for ages what can be farmable so this series is perfect
I think cobweb farms are maybe under appreciated. I hate running around in mines trying to get them for random things when I need them, I'd rather build this farm and AFK it once and have a chest that just always has some when I need them.
I'd actually love to have everything in minecraft farmable in an area of 8×8 chunks. This urge origins from one of my survivals, where I basically moved to the end void and collected everything I can, as the overworld and nether were going to get deleted completely. Maybe a few things, like trims and pot designs would be unique collectables forcing us to explore
@@RaysWorks Maybe you should file a bug report? If I remember correctly you were able to make mojang change few things by doing that, so maybe they will listen this time too.
On bedrock, each mob will only spawn 1-3 cobwebs upon death and only right at where they die. So what I do, is build a 2x2x2 above gound enclosure thats in a sealed off ~20x20x 5 block tall room, place a single block on the top edge. Then I make 4 snow golems in the pit, shear the carved pumpkins from their heads, then starting next to that one extra block I make 4 more snow golems above the first 4. They fall into the pit, shear their heads to get the pumpkins back, then repeat that 3 more times so you have 20 snow golems in the pit. Next I throw a splash potion of weaving into the pit to affect all 20 golems, then release them all from the smaller enclosure (it is important that they can spread out, as they will only form cobwebs around their death spot so if you kill them all inside the pit, you'll only get 4 cobwebs. Now that they're spread out in the 20x20 room a little bit, but before the 3 minutes of weaving is gone, I kill them all which will end up spawning about 40 cobwebs. Ypu end up getting all of your snow back in the form of snowballs that can be crafted back into the bkocks, and you get all of your carved pumpkins back too if you shear them before killing them. So the only thing consumed each round is the 1 splash potion and a bit of shears durability. I spend about an hour doing this over and over to fill a chest with string. If anybody has an easier way, I'm all for it 😂. But as for a repeatable way to get a large amount of string or cobwebs relatively quickly on Bedrock, it's the best I've found so far.

@@RaysWorks automatic in Minecraft would mean that the player doesn’t have to interact with it, but you’re bound to the farm by having to mine it, which would make it not automatic
The IRL definition of automatic refers to an automated system. Since the applying of potions and enderman killing machine is an automated process, it's automatic. This farm is NOT playerless, which is the term you're referring to.
@@RaysWorks tbh I can’t remember anyone ever calling that playerless, always automatic. That what you would call automatic is just the equivalent to what I would call a farm.
@@guupie1 The term automatic is used a wide arrange of ways in Minecraft so it's best to avoid using that term to mean anything specific. You can check the farm everything spreadsheet to see how all the farms are categorized by different types of automation.

Why you don't make string duper and connect with auto crafter.

That is awesome!
Let us pray that Mojang doesn't nerf it again
they surely will - remove all the "broken" stuff that players enjoy
I don't understand why they would nerf something in a sandbox game
@@MrBlackNorton Well TNT duping has been in the game for a long while. Give them some credit.
I didn’t know cobwebs were an renewable resource until this video
They weren't until 1.21 👀
Apparently cobwebs can't be crafted using strings, despite dropping them when broken.
@@w-lilypad it makes sense because its hard to replicate nature with your hands

this is the only way to farm cobwebs, and they're not even that useful in the first place. why does mojang wanna nerf it 😭

no, endermites are weird and can despawn riding stuff
