Get ya self a spreader bar mate. Grab onto em with ya 4 in 1. Makes quick easy work of it all and finishes it really neat and level. Every skiddy here in Aus has a 4in1 and a spreader bar as a bare minimum.

The track-steers are so powerful and versatile. I had 2 of the ASV RC-100s, and they could produce. Fooled many a concrete truck driver, pulling them out of whatever trouble they found. They would all say, "that little thing won't budge this full truck".
Me: You can buy my lunch now!
Great work Chris. Always nice to watch someone that has a feel and instinct for equipment. Stay safe.

Everyone dogs them but we had a 4810. It was different and took some getting used verses the other skids we had and used. We used it mostly as a light dozer with a 6 way blade and old beat up 4 in bucket as the clearing machine for lots and other areas that was a little to big for the 90xt or the T180. In that duty it did real well. The heavy ass end helped pack trees and the long undercarriage helped it pull roots pretty good it handled concrete from the washout from concrete trucks along better than the lighter skid too. It just wasn’t that maneuverable in close but as a mini dozer it was real good. We demoed a RC100 and I liked but it didn’t have the weight the 4810 had for packing and hauling stuff or the ground contact for pushing either. It had the power and with the joystick controls was way better than the duel drive handles but it didn’t have the lead in the butt the 4810 had and we already owned a T180 and a 90XT with steel tracks

As a welder myself that does a lot of bucket repairs I would wear the paint off of it, put a 4inch wear strip on the sides of the bucket. It really prolongs the corners of the bucket

A guy I used to deliver to liked the Takeuchi he got it was the largest model they made he said it's like a mini dozer really it has a lot of power. BTW nice job actually putting in a drain and culvert instead of leaving it out as so many do.

There are two SAE ratings for buckets - 'struck' (cubic feet of water the bucket can hold) and 'heaped' which is a 'nominal heap' which can be a little subjective but would be like a half moon shape over the bucket. Most manufacturers list 'heaped' ratings because it sounds better and that is the way most operators load a bucket (unless its water or pea gravel). Unless it says whether its struck or heaped then assume its a heaped rating so you have a .9 cu. yd. bucket
