Hey guys, in this video I wanted to break down the different choices you have when choosing between the 3/8 inch electric ratchets from Milwaukee. The 2557-20 is definitely the best buy here with the improved durability, improved battery life and higher torque rating compared to the 2457-20. The price difference really isn't that much more and you'll be happier with the tool down the road if you spend the extra money now.
We have heard that the small head on the 2457-20 has had some problems and it's best to avoid that model if possible.
The 2560-20 extended ratchet is also a great tool and can get into some really tight spaces with its extra length. However, from our experience we use the 2557-20 a lot more and find it to be the right tool for the job 90% of the time. If you are only buying one ratchet get the 2557-20. If you have the budget to get both, you won't regret it.

Don’t need torque for a ratchet. Guys use them like impacts. That’s why they break. Your suppose to break the bolts manually.

You are correct. You use this to quickly remove or put the bolt on then hand tight them to spec.

Alot has changed since this vid, I know. But curious on your thoughts of the 2557 and the high speed 2567 for general automotive work.

If you only buy one, you recommend to buy the regular M12 fuel 3/8 ratchet. For automotive use?
