I actually searched for midnight stars freakazoid and clicked this by mistake but a happy accident. I'll be checking out this group.
This band never ever disappoints. So consistently great. Every album. So good. Such an underrated band.

yeah after Swoon is when I lost base with these guys. It was getting way to slow and not creative for me. This band always lived in the creativeness and they lost it honestly after swoon. This seems like its getting back there again.

I remember going through depression and anxiety as a teenager. I remember the days just blurred together and some days I just didn't want to get out of bed. I remember playing the radio at night and hear Silversun Pickups playing. This band is a beacon of hope. It really is.

Dude, this helped me rediscover your old album Carnavas. I listened to it once with my dad a few months ago but I forgot your name, and he didn't know what I was talking about. Lo-Fi SadBoi I just discovered them a few years ago when I saw them play with multiple bands in Oakland, California. I mainly went to see Weezer and The Killers (as the headliners). I was impressed by them and immediately became a fan. I’m glad they have a new record 😊

Wow, this one is amazing! I cannot wait for this new album! I feel like I’ve been on the most awesome journey with SSPU over the years... from that one fateful day I stumbled upon Kissing Families many years ago, I’ve been in love with them. As each album was released I’ve always been surprised with where they’ve taken us, all while staying true to themselves and their sound. I always say that’s one of the most common traits with my favorite bands.. not being able to predict what their new album will sound like, but still keeping that core of their music intact.
the year's 2008 (maybe 2009). i'm browsing youtube. lazy eye is in the background of a racing video. "wow that song sounds cool. let's check that band out." cue 10 year love affair.
Ray vs. the World yep, that’s pretty close to how I started listening to them, just it was with Kissing Families. I’m not totally sure where I heard it first though... I may have just stumbled onto the music video during one of my TH-cam ‘down the rabbit hole’ sessions. Carnavas came out relatively close afterwards or had been out for a very short amount of time I believe, and I’ve been obsessed ever since 😎

This is cool. Glad that the album is finally being released. This one is supposed to contain some older songs(just a few years; not the start of their career) that were never crafted/completed for other releases. Not sure if it actually will contain such, or even if this song falls in such a category. This is good gaming, driving, skating/rollerblading/skateboarding & city/street strolling music. I hope that the rest of the album is in a similar(mildly/strongly) vein to this. Keep on picking it up, Silversuns.
