I have been doing something similar for over two years now. I capture every weekend on video and condense it down into a 60 second long video that tells a flowing story with no dialog and set to music. I can tell you that just doing that has changed the way that I shoot all video and do all of my edits for personal and client projects. I am constantly thinking about how do I get from A to B and tell the story efficiently and effectively simply through visuals. Good video sir!

In this video you discuss audio production. You say that you record sounds with your phone on occasion. Do you use a mic or just us the internal phone mic? For instance in the scene where you are rolling the luggage across the street....where does the audio of the wheels on the pavement come from (phone or 3rd party audio?)
Hey! Thanks for the comment. If I ever use my phone I generally just use the in built mic or my video mic pro on my camera. Aside from that all my sound effects come from epidemic sound. (Including suitcase wheels) if you wanna try it out I have a link for a free trial in the description. Hope that helps! 😁
Wow really loved those pointers! Especially the one about consistently having the movement go left to right which makes the video flow more smoothly and it transports the viewer as if they are along the journey. I never thought of that but it's so true!
