Hands down the BEST ONLINE TUTORIAL FOR HOODED EYES!!!!! I was taught these techniques in make up school but have always been shocked at how many tutorials online have failed at bringing these key points across. You did it brilliantly!!!! 👏🙌👏
I have seen other tutorials but this one explained why each step was either right or wrong and it finally clicked with me!

Why are so you so "shocked"? In youtube everyone is free to make "a tutorial", no licence for anything required, so of course everyone here can come up and claim himself to know any subject.
In my opinion no one's "shocked" over here rather appreciative of how this video has been edificial/helpful to them. If one can't appreciate, isn't it better not to be criticizing??

I am 37 years old. When I was in my late teens, early 20s I had pretty much given up doing makeup because of how hooded my eyes were/are. My sister has gotten me intrigued with makeup again and more than anything wanted to start looking fabulous and not just putting a pencil liner to my water line. I have poured over sooooo many tutorials on "hooded eye makeup" and yours hands down is the best. Thank you thank you thank you for doing your videos, you have helped me build my confidence to start trying makeup again!

I’ve ALWAYS wondered why thick lashes never looked good on me and I thought I was putting them on wrong. I never realized they just don’t compliment my hooded eyes well!

It's okay; you can still do fun and dramatic makeup just play around with your makeup until you find the style that best works for your hooded eyes
marcelkat - Luckily, I rarely wear make-up; however... it sure would be nice to be able to rock some eyeshadow on those rare occasions that I do feel like it.
@@personalinformation3663 which you can. I have hooded eyes and do bold dramatic and fun makeup all the time. Hooded eyes doesn't mean you can't it just means you have to do it different

You’re fine. Most ppl have them! Do what works for you! That is power of makeup. I never try to copy anything makeup artists do bc we would all look the same and boring. I just like her tutorials.

Watched this on Sunday and had my cosmetologist change the shape of my eyebrows to be thinner and higher arched and more tapered at the end. Also had her apply my lashes thinner in the centre than usual. It's perfection. I'll never forget how immensely you've helped me. XOXO!

great tutorial for hooded eyes. the "good side" is how I apply my makeup to my hooded eyes. so thankful that I figured it out a long time ago or else that "bad side" could have been me for the last 10 years! very simple explanation and no weird tape tricks or stupid contouring or eyelid stickers for the hoods. love this video!

Wow, I always have had issues with eye makeup disappearing the moment I open my eye and never knew why! I have small eyes to begin with and thought I was doing things to make them appear bigger..turns out I totally was doing everything on the 'bad side'! Thank you for this amazing, helpful tutorial!!

Yes me too. I have one 'normal' eyelid and a heavy hooded one. It really stresses me out as I cannot get them to both look the same x
You can also get Botox on one of ur eyes. They can put it so the muscle that makes ur eyebrow go down is paralyzed. It helped my hooded eyes not be so hooded . Now my eyes look more even and pretty

I have partly hooded eyes just like the woman in the video, and I've been doing my eye makeup wrong knowingly because I couldn't find a hooded eye tutorial that would explain it so clearly. Excellent tutorial, the side by side shows how effective makeup can be in changing your appearance! The bad side literally ages you 10 years!
I've started doing cut crease eyeshadow I use a pink shimmer on my lid, a bronze colour on the outer then blend a vertical line of matte red shadow on the outer quarter of my lid up to where I wish my crease was, it's beautiful and no wizardry involved either 😂😂😂

It has by other youtubers...one which recommends doing more of a straight brows intead of arched....which made nos sense to me..i have hooded eye n doing it more of a straigh brow made me look droopy..arch is my go to to open up my eyes more..lol
