- seen alot of people struggling to leave the parking lot Sunday morning from redneck rave.. traffic was backed up due to alot of people used there offroad rige to pull there truck and trailer to the top of the hill. then they loaded there rige.

Boy I spent bout 15 years and thousands of dollars 💵on this hobby and if there is one thing that sucks is packing up Sunday morning of a 3 sometime 4 day long ride out at mud nationals......hungover as hell on beer... moonshine....whiskey jello shots.. loading up all the camping equipment....having to load up broken bikes then getting stuck in traffic and ruts on the way out grabbing some whataburger on the way home and the best night sleep you will ever have is later that night when you crawl in bed 🛏Sunday evening 😬
Iv only been wheeling for 2 years now. I usually ride half the day that your supposed to leave so I don't have to wait in traffic..
I quit drinking 16 years ago, I don’t miss the hangovers!

Guy in the 4th Gen had the right idea. Gave it enough power to get momentum but not too much to where he lost traction.

@Cookie85_Monst ya I'm not to happy with everything especially since rush offroad that's 15 minutes from my house was having there event the same weekend as redneck rave. I thought I was going to drive 3.5 hours from the house to redneck rave and get a better bang for my buck.. dang was I wrong

About a 2-3hr wait time to get out as well but no complaints we had a good time and had some good new memories with my boys.

amazing place! you sure earned a subscriber. its crazy to have a ram 2500 cummins and bring it to a mud hole bring a trailer nevertheless have crappy tires so you cant get a grip what a shame maybe they learned they have those new street looking big rimmed small tire cant grip for crap in mud
maybe bring some spare mudding tires and use your 4x4 with those instead of those awful street tires

5:20 why do people put those super wide rims on their trucks just to stretch a smaller low profile tire over them? He probably wouldn't slide as much if he had real tires on his truck instead of freeway slicks.
I don't get it eather. I like some cushion so I don't ding a rim. But to each there owen I guess.

@dustyweasel41 Am thinking about getting an older late 70s to mid 90s one ton long bed of some sort, probably like a chevy c30. not only for a first vehicle but to also help out our small ranch we have going here. But I know if I even tried to put tires like that on there, it would definitely be a pain for sure with what I would personally use the truck for. 😂👍

That's why I say "as long as it's got lockers", mostly between the wheels though.
A retrofit kit on an ICE drive line ehere it just replaces the engine should do just fine. Putting a motor on all the wheels like a certain stupid company will fall right on its face
Rivian has one motor per wheel, no need for lockers

For me black smoke is lame. One of the biggest reasons the EPA is cracking down on the diesels so hard.
A well tuned truck will not roll black smoke! the only reason for rolling coal is to help cool the cylinders or to think your cool! which is not needed on a street truck!

Alot of them didn't have the tiers to deal with 2-4 inch deep mud
Diesel adds a lot of weight and slower throttle response.
@@NBSV1 don't matter what is under the hood once the tires get caked in mud, its like driving on slick tires.
@@arbiter1 Matters when the engine adds a bunch of extra weight on the front axle. Burying the front tires an inch deeper can be just enough to make something stuck. And, matters when you want a quick throttle response for power adjustments. With most of the diesels you’ll get a lag then a surge of power. Not a huge deal, but just adds something else to have to manage.
