Yes! Contentment is what I've been saying when I find myself wanting things that don't align with my goals. My oldest sister made fun of my car because it's a 2011, no push to start etc. I found myself out car shopping because of her comments. So happy I didn't buy a new car. Not having a car note right now is allowing me to reach other financial goals. My goals are to save cash for a new to me car, save monthly for my daughter UTMA ACCT, 401k, roth, and complete 100 envelope challenge. I also have a saving challenge book with monthly saving challenges. I feel like 2024 is going to be a great year.

My word for the new year is rebuild. Me and my husband have had a rough few years so I want to work on rebuilding our marriage and relationship , I also want to rebuild my relationship with my kids. Another thing that we are wanting to rebuild is our outdoor things. We recently moved so we need to rebuild our chicken coop and fencing.we have a lot of rebuilding to do this year.

My “word” for 2024 is really a few words, but it’s something that I thought of when working on them in 2023. Solo-fulfillment and dream walking. In 2024, I want to be focused on growing myself and walking through my dreams. Does that mean that I’ll become a nurse in 2024? No. Small things, I mean. I want to do the things I constantly talk about but don’t do- like go see a play, a concert, and find spaces that *I* want to occupy alone. Places I feel like I belong to. To try some of the hobbies that I’ve always wanted to and apply myself more in my creativity. I want to blossom as my adult self (turning 22 y/o).
