its actually based on a series of 25 books called heartland by a lady with the last name of brooks. A few of the pairings were changed on the tv version form the book (likely due to some on screen chemistry things that may have made it seem forced)
I love that they have kept so many cast members on the show for so many seasons. Working with the same people that many years just makes the chemistry everyone has together phenomenal.

Heartland is such a great show, it gets all of the good and bad emotions and it makes it so good. You start to actually make bonds with all of the characters. The music just adds a finishing touch and suspense. This is my favorite show. I cant wait until seasons 8,9,and10 come out.p.s. ty and amy
One of the reasons I love Heartland so much is because of the horses me and my cousin whant to buy a huge Ranch with lots of horses so that we can work with them we are in love with them and watching the show really teaches me a lot about horses that I didn't know.

i had three horses and my horse was black. and had a sickiness in his foot called founder and he has always been sick but he resonly got put down and watching heart land helped me get threw it and that's means a lot I love heart land so much

I LOVE THIS!!! Wish I knew I totally would have sent something in. If I did it would have said that I absolutely love Heartland for countless reasons. The cast and crew are friends in real life which shows on camera, i love how you guys want to connect with your audience and really get to know them. Rather than just doing it to produce a show to make money. You truly care about your fans and you build a relationship with your fans which i think is fantastic. also, i love the horse part, the humor, the romance, the things i learn about horse training, (since i plan on being a horse trainer myself for my career) the scenery, how every episode has something new to keep you interested, how there are valuable life lessons in every show, and how it's appropriate for the entire family. It's really hard to find a show that includes all of that. another thing I LOVE is that Amber....you aren't really acting. This type of thing comes so easily to you; working with horses, and animals in general is apart of your normal life and it shows that being with animals is something you truly love. it is so hard to find a good horse show where the main actor/actress is not really acting because they honestly love horses and animals in their real life. this show has inspired me to be a better horsewomen, and a better person in general. with every other show i watch an episode and i dont think about it again. it doesn't tend to mean much to me. but heartland is a show that i can really learn from for life lessons, and relate to and love. And when i watch heartland it sticks with me throughout the day, week, year, etc. Basically this is the PERFECT TV show and I LOVE ALL OF THE CAST AND CREW FOR CREATING SOMETHING THAT I THINK IS A WONDERFUL THING FOR THE WORLD TO HAVE AVAILABLE TO THEM!!!

It has definitely reignited my passion for horses and I am now on the search to buy one of my own again. The show really takes me back, very nostalgic for me. And its very well written, every episode makes me frustrated, makes me laugh and cry all within the one episode and I think that is very unique and special. Amy and Ty are cute as and Lou is so lovely. Jack is like the dad everyone had or wants to have haha. Its all round a great show and I look forward to watching it each time :) Keep it up beautiful people

See I have many health issues that makes it possible to see heartland so many times. Heartland is such a positive family show it makes me feel relaxed when I’m stressed or happy when I’m feeling sad. I’m 61 yrs young and you can ask my kids when ever they ask me what I’m doing... I tell them watching Tv and they say oh your watching Heartland ❤️ lol. I just wanted to share with you how much I love it. And everyone that was in it or still is. But I won’t lie, some were not to likeable. I love all the animals . My name is really Kiki and I'm 13 um I've been around horses since well actually my whole life my parents owned 3 horses and than 2 of them died one because of a serious engery and the other was because of old age but on my 7th birthday my parent got me this horse that I saw the day before and his name is Starlight and now I do a bit of Liberty training with him and lark a horse we adopted um I also do a bit of trick riding and jumping now I have 3 horses and the other ones r more meant for my lil sis Chloe I still ride Blake Zeeke and pixie pixie I jump once a week Zeeke I have to ride because he's a little trouble maker and Blake I jump in competitions every month about because sometimes he jumps fences but this show really inspired me to do what I am doing now

It is such a great family fun show. Having grown up in Oregon it is a blessing to be out in the open areas of mountains. Now living in Eastern Oregon now I get the privilege of spending time on a ranch where my Daughter and Son in law live being a ranch hand plus spending time with my first grandchild Tel. Having living in North Eastern New Mexico you are around Cow country and horses a lot. Love the Cast each persons character is so great. you cant honestly dislike any of them as they are all funny in their own ways. Keep up the great Job you all do I like the realism.

i love heartland because the whole show has a heartwarming atmosphere where you can just relax and enjoy an episode with family, you might not be a big fan of horses but after watching an episode of heartland you will become obsessed. The horses make a huge impact and show you that horses will love you and be just as loyal as any animal , alot of horse training helps with people learning and using these tips to create a better bond with their horse but most importantly it shows how love and family are the most important things people can have xx

My name is really Kiki and I'm 13 um I've been around horses since well actually my whole life my parents owned 3 horses and than 2 of them died one because of a serious engery and the other was because of old age but on my 7th birthday my parent got me this horse that I saw the day before and his name is Starlight and now I do a bit of Liberty training with him and lark a horse we adopted um I also do a bit of trick riding and jumping now I have 3 horses and the other ones r more meant for my lil sis Chloe I still ride Blake Zeeke and pixie pixie I jump once a week Zeeke I have to ride because he's a little trouble maker and Blake I jump in competitions every month about because sometimes he jumps fences but this show really inspired me to do what I am doing now
I relate because before this show i was npt that big on horses but now im taking lessons to learn jumping w/ horses. and barrel racing! and me and my cousins & uncle are going to soon buy land and have horses and everything there! :0

and I really love horses I have 40 horses I'm going to reserves and they mostly have bowls unless they have horses we save some of them self because like you guys are you guys rescue animals I rescued them and I love Heartland because tiny me there like cute together Ty and Amy look good together because we like ty what helps animals and Amy how's animals too so that's reason I like them they're cute couple but in the movie another kick up on real life but in the movie hope you guys make more series of it right now I'm watching another movie

It is such a great family fun show. Having grown up in Oregon it is a blessing to be out in the open areas of mountains. Now living in Eastern Oregon now I get the privilege of spending time on a ranch where my Daughter and Son in law live being a ranch hand plus spending time with my first grandchild Tel. Having living in North Eastern New Mexico you are around Cow country and horses a lot. Love the Cast each persons character is so great. you cant honestly dislike any of them as they are all funny in their own ways. Keep up the great Job you all do I like the realism.

I love heartland because of Amy and ty they have a up and down relationship and comedy and the intro song brings peace to your day and I love heartland and it's cool how Amber uses her animals to be in the the cat

i love heartland because the whole show has a heartwarming atmosphere where you can just relax and enjoy an episode with family, you might not be a big fan of horses but after watching an episode of heartland you will become obsessed. The horses make a huge impact and show you that horses will love you and be just as loyal as any animal , alot of horse training helps with people learning and using these tips to create a better bond with their horse but most importantly it shows how love and family are the most important things people can have xx

I get really attached to the characters i live in the USA so I can’t watch season 12 yet but I watched from season 1-11 twice with no problem the second time I took less then a month and I cry at any sad moment because of how attached I am to everyone and can you reply to this to tell me how to send videos to you
