How do I nail the 2nd round of interviews? I need a video on that😭 it's so discouraging going on so many and not making it past that round - I find more places than not end up ghosting rather than sending a straight up rejection email, which I'd much rather prefer
I am guilty of this as well 🖐I stayed late and went in on weekends. I am hoping to build more efficient routines during the day so I don't stay so late because this is very much tied to teacher burnout in my opinion! Loved the GRWM!! :) :)
I stay after and talk. I used to get mad because I always ended up staying after school....then I realized it was because I was talking to people and NOT working lol. What I realized was...I don't want to do work after school. My brain shuts off and I don't want to do anything. Sometimes It'll be like ten, and I'll be like oh...I want to do this one thing. And I'll do it. But it is way more effective to use your prep hours, and even hours when the kids are in the class, to actually plan and prep for the day. I also agree, don't bring your laptop. I can see my email on my phone, but I never downloaded the app. So I don't get a notification...I only see the email when I deliberately open up safari and type the website in. I give myself 24 hours to respond, unless it's an emergency. Sometimes I don't respond to emails if I don't thikn they deserve a response.
I love your videos so informative

@@teacherof20 Yes, I love this! I’m sure i’ll still be guilty of it from time to time 😆. Totally agree about teacher burnout.
