I didn’t fully understand the lyrics (being English as my first language) because it was in Spanish and therefore didn’t give me a reason to vote for Spain (I still liked it at first). Knowing the lyrics now has given me a full understanding of the song and has now gotten my vote for the Grand Final. Thank you Spain for the song that you’ve chosen! Some weeks ago I stated in the official video that Tu Cancion's melody was the best one by far this year. It's an accomplished composition from head to toe. Full of peaks and valleys that makes you feel something very special inside. I define it as "joy of life". Now that I'm discovering all this background, I'm out of words to define this entry. Never seen something like this on ESC. Some people may believe this is a song strictly about love, but it isn't. It's a song about life (all included) and is ready to disarm everyone's "shields", even those who are calling it now "too sweet". They don't need any kind of special staging. Just them. When you have a song like this one and this appealing couple, you don't have to overshadow your best qualities. That would be a big mistake. Let the others run in circles while you stand strong and tall. Just take care of lightning and camera angles. People will appreciate the straightness. Go Spain, execute your masterpiece on stage.
