Cool, i used to use the clansman for years as a radop or radio opwrator in the logistics corp. The 320 could use a skywave antenna and transmit around the world and back to itself! fun fact. the 321 was for our landrovers, typically in the turbo diesel Wolf LR and we put a tent onto the back with the rear door open and even hooked up inverters for laptops, phone charging while in the feild and of course if your a clever ba#tard you have a tv receiver that plug into your lapto and also bring a full size house antenna yes the same +1 meter antenna and put that on the roof of the landy. You find all the guys want to be friends pretty quickly when you can charge phones...#ExtraRashionFromTheFeildChefs lol
I am using a small 24 volt Lipo battery and an original Clansman external power cord. I am also using an external antenna connected to the BNC on the back of the 320
Do you know much about the modern military radios? I have a peltor headset with a blue 7pin ODU AMC downlead. Can't find anything that it goes to. All the high end PTTs have a red 14 pin for the headset and the omm ports are either blue or white 7pin connections.

I don’t know anything about that. I was lucky my radios came with accessories or I would have been in trouble
Yes so after clansman we upgraded to the Bowman radios, great for being able to just speak normally but a devil to set up the twin crypto inputs.
