This is the kind of music, with which I grew up, in the 70's. So great to hear it still today from young musicians! Certainly no chance, to reach the top ten with this kind of music, but maybe much more the mind, heart and soul of real (jazz) music lovers! Thank you for this wonderful, unfiltered, unoptimized, pure, raw, but really great, beautiful live performance!
Great Music but I also loved the way Juna stepped back out of the camera during the sax solo and both her and sax player knelt down so the audience could see the drum solo. Real Team spirit there which added to the musical appreciation.
Such a talented band, Juna, Harumo, Mimi and the rest, truly outstanding!
Freakin good !! Love Harumo's playing and how she moves with her sax. These 3 girls during the keyboard solo part, how they enjoy the music, is just hapiness. Mimi's druming during this part is stunning.... she's the driver.

Oh My Goodness! This is blew-my-socks-off and put-tears-in-my-eyes good! It is really as good as ANYTHING I've ever heard. I thought after the amazing sax work (loved how the tone changed between the funkier and the more melodic/sweet parts!), the keys player better be bringing it! Oh he brought it alright! Reminds me a lot of Max Middleton, and THAT'S a compliment. All this, and Juna didn't even solo! There is such amazing musicians and virtuosity in the world - thank you, Lord!

I like Yuriko Seki more. Also give Senri Kawaguchi of The Jazz Avengers and Akane from Band-Maid a try. Yuriko was Tokyo Groove Jyoshi's drummer before MiMi.

Really loved this performance...exvellent, tight, the ladies in this band are great together...I've seen several videos of them together with other musicians...the drummer and bass player are always locked in. And the sax player is fantastic. I've been playing bass for longer than she's been alive, I wish I had half the chops Juna has....
