I'll ask the obvious question because no one else has. Why were they "posing" for a video camera? The big shoulder camera was a VHS recorder, but you typically only pose for still shots. In 1980s, a still camera was just a fist sized object like a DSLR is today. In fact still cameras (B&W at least) had become common and small by WWI.
My best friend's uncle (Robert Klane) wrote this junk trash way back in the day. Definitely a low point in Chevy's career. Can you believe he did more Vacation movies after this.? Hail Willy Millowitsch!!! Best actor in the film! (Not saying much...)
@@ihatekillerclowns Hey! He wrote that one too!! And I totally agree with your take. All of the best scenes in any of the movies he wrote = 5 minutes of Monty Python at best. Or The Sure Thing. Or The Breakfast Club. Or Back to the Future. You get my drift...
@@BeardVsTheWorldUK1 Wait, he had a hand in writing Back To The Future? Am I understanding you correctly? I know nothing about him, other than those writing credits I saw on IMDB. In any event, it sounds like he lived an exciting life, loving what he did. Not too shabby! You cannot ask for more than that.
@@ihatekillerclownsI did not say that. I said the best of his talent amounts to maybe 5% of the humor in the listed movies. I can't speak for his novels, but judging from his film work, his was a wasted life. Nephew runs a Walmart in Arkansas now. Hope he's happy, at least...
Those big cameras people had in the 80s and 90s.
BUH-BUH-BUH, BUH-BUH-BUH
Ill never stop laughing at how absurd it is. XD
She wasn't very concerned about the camera being stolen.
"Beautifully done"...

1:37. Clark screaming is fricking hilarious. Idk i think hes so funny
yes, back when I had it on VHS as a child, Id rewind that part often
Things were different back then. No person with a cellphone in their hands. Just enjoying the day. The 80s were amazing.
That's just because of the quaaludes
Now you have smartphones to do all the pictures and videos.
Im surprised clark didn't go after him when he stole the camera. Most people go after them when they steal cameras.
😂 😂 😂 Très bien
French of Algerian decent, maybe. Une idée ! Enlevez les chaussures et dans la fontaine ! Merveilleux, les shoes, dans l'eau.
What did I stumble upon?
It’s a movie clip from “National Lampoon’s European Vacation”
He didn't erase it :D
What kind of a person steals a camera?
1:52
Why did he say “they” took the camera?

well, i'd prefer this any day over Weekend At Bernies, something that should've been a 10 minute skit on SNL and left alone for good
