- Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!! My favorite and most anticipated Blood Angels special character has finally arrived in my hands! As you can tell by my enthusiasm, I cannot wait to review this action figure so without further ado, let's take a deep dive and feast our eyes upon this living legend.

Mephiston's artificer armor has that unusual appearance, when contrasted against other stylized suits of power armor that are modeled after human musculature (such as the Paragons of Baal figures), because his suit of artificer armor (also High Chaplain Astorath the Grim's armor) is specifically meant to invoke *flayed* human musculature (it's even more apparent with Astorath, since he does not wear any robes or gloves over it).

Lol it is hard for me not to be excited because I love the Blood Angels and as I made it rather known, I LOVE Mephiston so much. He's my favorite BA character

Wish they did the 2 cape thing with Dorn as having it flow the one direction limits his posing…cool they did that with Mephiston! Honestly, all caped figures should have a separate neutral one like this

Super cool figure of Mephiston, im glad you are so happy brother Sprues! It is an incredible figure, so much detail and good paint job. The most impresive feature is the face, i think JT made a tremendous job on it. Would like to see more posing on this action figure as well as on other ones. Keep it master chapter Sprues!!
Yeah I love BA so much if I haven't made it clear to people lol. As for the poses, I will admit I am not the most creative when it comes to doing them but perhaps stroke of genius will come over me one day and I will get more creative

I wish you reviewed the Infinity figures from JoyToy. At least the latest Mirage-5. That werewolf by JoyToy is amazing and something to expose more people to. Now we can have a JoyToy Vampire vs Werewolf! :D
Actually, no I have not. I just exclusively focus on WH40K action figs. Perhaps later on down the line I may/ or may not expand my horizons

JT took a little bit of time to get all the unique characters out. I thought that they were going to release all of them in September. That being said, I would love to see DA Asmodai, Grimaldus, and BA Dante in the future.

I dont Know mate, two things that turn me off are that the action in this Figure, is super limited due to the Outfit. What bothers me is this gap between the armor plate under the belt and the body, that looks like meh to me, but on the other Hand i dont know how joytoy could do it better or different.
Interesting that you point out the articulation. When I was posing the figure, I didn't really encounter too many pose issues. Perhaps this is because I suppose I have been exposed to the worse possible "poseable" action figure which is the UM Terminator Chaplain...that is basically a fancy paper weight
No shading on legs or chest :/ no extra head, I will pass this time. It is an expensive figure, why jt is limiting the accessories?

There is some shading on the chest...although it is very faint. In terms of head, Mephiston has always been a bare-headed character so we will not be getting a helmeted version ever.

McFarlane must take notes from JoyToy! He's nowhere to be found as it has to do with Warhammer40k!
I think that the license may have expired on McF...idk when we are going to see any sort of WH40K action figures from him in the near future (if ever)
