I found death bringer from the sky shortly after discovering 3 inches of blood while playing saints row on Xbox many moons ago. So ultimately saints row is responsible for much if my music tastes, because thru Ensiferum I found tyr, manowar, aether realm, wintersun, dimmu borgir, satyricon, the list could go on forever, my point is turning over the particular rock I did when finding Ensiferum took my down the best decade long musical rabbit hole ever and I'll be eternally grateful. Also it was a dope game
I heard this song playing aoh2 bloody europe and i like it, when I started researching, I saw a group called Ensiferum and it sounded familiar from somewhere. Maybe I saw it on my brother's computer when I was very young, maybe it's something else. But I can say that this song is very beautiful.
For a long time I did not get this album. Back in the time I thought this was like a rushed album. Now, years later I think this is by far the best album (well the new ones are very good also) and Ensiferum is probably the most charmingly evolved folk metal band I have ever seen. Kek'ked.
Listening to this and thinking of my ex-girlfriend who left me last night. Even though this song makes me cry, it feels that it is the only thing how I can have some relief.
FYI same as vomit is a reaction of the body when it senses toxic substances to throw them out of your body, TEARS are your mind vomiting to expel toxic emotion (here is your sorrow) out of your soul and as a result you feel better after that.

This, this was their last good album. I'm a diehard fan of Jari's era, but this album was the last one that felt memorable and unique. One man army and Two paths are just, boring, it just feels like every other "epic viking metal" band out there.
I actually enjoyed One Man Army. Heathen Throne Part III and Burden of the Fallen, Warrior without a War and Cry for the Earth Bound really carried this album - maybe even better than Thalassic (probably because I like Markus' und Sami's vocals more than Pekka's)
