@@mr.cantdorightt only reason I say that is cause I watched jsu go from 2013 and 2014 boom with a thriving trumpet section to 2015 boom with a non-existent one less than a year with merely the same size band or bigger, I be low-key hoping the Dawgs out that trumpet section are there to stay a lil longer, or if not at least pass the torch down to the rest of Trumpfunk and get em on beast level before y'all leave...something went horribly wrong in 2015
@@freedembo2698 a lot of those dogs graduated & 2015 was a incredibly young section. 2014 and 15 had massive freshman classes in that section. 16 was a step in the right direction again then it got worse in 17 but 18 was when TF starting getting a strong foundation again

JSU finally figured out balance and having trumpets are important and now it’s “the swac in trouble” or “SU in trouble” is this not the same format SU been rolling with since forever. JSU thought it sounded better to have more mellos than trumpets a few years ago🤷🏽♂️
😂😂 yall complain no matter the configuration. When they were tuba heavy everyone had something to say but celebrate SU with it. Then it was too many mellos but love Dega and TXSU for it. JSU had trumpets up until 2016 and then they changed the style and now they back and have been since 2020. A consistent dub all 2023 proved it 😆
