Very good tutorial. I'm facing a similar problem. It is a LG P430 notebook which does not run over battery source (battery os good and New), the system recognize battery but don't charge It also. Some advise where do I search the faulty component?
I just love seeing that you're using a wiring diagram and a multimeter. PC shops in Australia wouldn't even know how to read a wiring diagram or use a multimeter.

Sir my laptop hp pavillion, has the same problem, but when I reinstall the drivers then it charges.. but when I switch it on in the morning and charge it it does not increase, until I reinstall the battery drivers, what do you think is the problem???

This same is happening in my case..but it is not working on battery..it is turning off once it is plugged out..It is showing Plugged in,charging...but the value is not increasing

Your content was awesome, but why you are touching MBD with your bare hand. You should use ESD Band while working on system specially to touch MBD.
More study more confusion no study no confusion! Try practically than say me results esd band is needed correct but if using bare hands there is other protocol also if followed than band not needed

@@Aditya11ttt Right, but Lenovo don't publish the schematics do they? Hmm, but I see they are available online from various suppliers. Are they leaked or reverse-engineered? The latter would be difficult and error-prone.

I am having lenovo e450 thinkpad model.
I had put my laptop in sleep mode for 1 month without charger plugged in. After 1 month when I am trying to switch it on, its not running without the charger, without charger its getting off immediately. When its plugged in it is showing "0% available(plugged in)" at its stucked at 0 % always since a week. What might be the problem ? please suggest please. I have tried static charge removal also bt did not work, please support as at my current place there is no technical support or any computer shop.
Most ikely your battery is too low voltage to accept a charge. Either buy new battery or charge individual cells.

Bypassing a MOSFET by connecting a jumper wire from the source to the drain is generally not recommended and can have undesirable effects. The source and drain terminals of a MOSFET are designed to have different functionalities and characteristics. The source is the terminal through which the current enters or exits the MOSFET, while the drain is the terminal where the current flows into or out of the load. The gate terminal controls the conductivity between the source and drain.
By connecting the source and drain directly, you effectively short-circuit the MOSFET. This bypasses the gate terminal, preventing any control over the current flow through the device. Depending on the circuit configuration and the characteristics of the load, this can lead to excessive current flow, overheating, or even damage to other components. Therefore, it is generally not a recommended practice to bypass a MOSFET in this manner.

@@Aditya11ttt I'm just a silent student of yours and i was just bringing up what atleast i've learnt from various sources. So i thought i woud share it. But i'm open to any clarification. I love learning new things and when i saw you Jamping the MOSFET is was a little scheptic. But learning never stops so you can may be share with us more. Cause my worry is Jumping the MOSFET will make us ignore the signal so basically there's no signal control on the MOSFET. Current is just flowing from Source to Drain. So in astuation sya for example a client uses a wrong adoptor with higher voltage. Wont there be future concern. Please educate us more on this cause we want to learn more. Or basically its just a myth we have planted in our heads that Jumping MOSFETs is bad yet actually there's no effect.

Hi, Brother. By mistake charger was connected to USB 3.0 port (My sister connected without knowledge due broken plastic at usb). Burning smell came suddenly. Please suggest to fix it. Is it repairable. What could be the fate of saved hard disk memory, etc. Thank you. Looking forward to ur reply.
