[MU:CON 2020] 실리카겔 (Silica Gel)

“BRAVE NEW SOUND”. Along with this praise, the debut of Silica Gel was a phenomenon in the Korean independent music scene. They released a critically acclaimed self-titled LP [Silica Gel] in 2016 and swept three crowns for the best rookie including “Rookie of The Year” at the Korean Music Awards.
Silica Gel have explored their own brand of psychedelia with a wide spectrum of musical influences varying from alternative rock to experimental music. And their live performances with explosive energy attracted a great amount of attention and made them the main representative of a new wave of Korean independent music.
In the end of 2017, Silica Gel suspended their activities after the release of the EP [SiO2.nH2O] due to the members’ enlistment in the military. After two years and six months of rest, they have returned with the release of a new single [Kyo181] in August 2020.

the album itself is called 'Silica Gel' ! it disappeared from spotify for a while but now it should be back up :)
