Secret service has always been a joke. I saw Joe Biden speak back in 2016 when he was vice president. They were running behind and weren't getting people inside quick enough so they just stopped patting people down and doing metal searches.

My brother was handicapped and bullied everyday in school. I lived with him and witnessed what it did to him. He had a heart condition on top of looking different. He was a straight A student. It changed my life, and I know that people can be real vicious. Kids are not born vicious, they are taught through their home life sometimes, parents, their environment, and teachers that do nothing about it. Our schools need to change - I went back to college for a second time for literature. I am writing a novel about how kids should treat each other, and their environment. I hope I can make a difference - even if it is a small difference!
The only answer I have found is Christianity. I was raised in a Catholic school. The nuns taught us that Jesus was in every other child. If we treated another child poorly, we were treating Jesus poorly. If we loved and encouraged another child, we were loving Jesus and making Him happy. It worked.

Yes, I noticed that, too. Around minute 11 or so the witness referred to Trump as president every time the interviewer referred to Trump as former president beforehand. Weird.

The US is more politically divided than it's been since the civil war, my guy. It's not necessarily because "things are dire", but because western media propagates hate, rather than information, because it's easier to sell and get sponsorship for.

I have to say, the reporter is a good one. She got the info, let people speak, and she seems nice and empathetic without coming across as fake.
