Hello, I am a Chan Buddhist and I am living and doing Shaolin Kuntao, Ling Sing Toy, Bagua, Hsing-I. I would like to thank you for helping me on my path. 非常感谢
Thank you so much for sharing this knotting technique - I feel it is way more efficient than using the tweezer method of pearl knotting. Just my brain but I just turn volume off on most demonstration videos since it is a distraction to me. Also just an FYI to other viewers you can go to Settings in this video and slow down or speed up the playback speed. Will be looking for more instructional videos from you. 😎
Thank you for your comment, usually, I use background music through the jewelry marking part, I think motion explains everything. I'll do more diy jewelry videos. :)
Hi Karen, this looked do-able for a beginner like me. Would you mind also demonstrate putting smaller beads or a bead at the end on each of the hanging sides, so that it would be dangling beads instead of just string? Thanks 💖
Thank you for sharing!!! I have enjoyed making the stretchy bracelets with 0.5mm and 0.8mm elastic. Thank you for teaching! I look forward to being able to order from you, to say thank you for teaching!
Thank you for the tutorial on "knotting". Being a visual learner, I really enjoyed the demonstration. But I ABSOLUTELY LOVED that music by Lil JX!!! Classic mixed with a reggae beat.......FABULOUS! 👍🏾😍
Very nice tutorial 🖤 and when that music came on my heart felt happy, i used to stay up late just to listen to where is the love on the radio before bed 🥰
Thank you so much for these videos, I am learning a lot from you. I came across a bunch of different beads and I am learning how to make braclets and necklaces. Music is amazing, and you dog is lovely.
Thanks for teaching about the pearl knot, I need to restring some pearls. The closure bit wasn’t as clear to see but then realised it’s macrame, so for those who didn’t see but know macrame. As mentioned in other comments, length of cord used would be useful to know. Thanks for the tutorial. 🙂
Wow I’m so grateful for this!!!! Thanks soooo much!!!!! My neckless is looking professional, I’m gonna make the most beautiful necklaces from now on, thankkkkkk youuuhhh❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Loved seeing this knotting technique. I also loved your video about knotting for donut on cord. The small *baby bangles* are now being used on cords like donuts traditionally have been before. The, too, look great when knotted on a cord for a larger modern design. Anyway, as always, I love seeing your how-to videos.
Hi Karen you do really beautiful work and those tigers eye beads are really the best I think I've ever seen. I'm getting some new bi color tigers eye beads soon, there on there way to me, and I think I'll be using them in this design so thank you for that. I've been trying to figure out what to make for a man you may just have solved that problem for me especially since I dont know what his wrist size is this would work. Great work keep it up and thank you. :) Oh I almost forgot. The pearl knots you were doing they have a little tool to make those knots for hand knotting pearls, which I use and have done myself a number of times too. But I like the way your doing it too no tool required :D best ides ever thank you for that. Peace.
I’m going to watch this again when I have some cord in my hands so I can follow along, but it might be easier to see if you demonstrated with either a contrasting or lighter colored cord and maybe closer up to see the details.
Thank you for sharing, I have never seen this technique, looks cool! I am mostly knotting square knots, which is also fast, but not as fast as this pearl knot :)
Many Thxs from California Karen for this tutorial! I appreciate that your instructions are clear, well thought out and easy for me to follow! Your completed project is Lovely and inspiring!❤ l Love, love your selection of music for this tutorial! Where can I find it! Please? The title is in Chinese which I do not speak. So, that is a problem with me looking for the album online. Please advise? 🤫👍🏼
Thank you for your tutorial and your time. Appreciate the mindset of sharing good things with all. Keep it up. One Humble request to have lighter color thread to understand the work easily. Well I enjoyed watching it.
Thought it was a great video, I have volume control of I don’t want to hear the music, I simply turn it down. And it was very easy to see what you are doing in the video and follow along. Keep up the great work!! Thank you! ❤🎉
When I lived in China 8 years ago, I went and got a bracelet like this made for me. With light green jade and "Chinese" red cord 🥰 I loved it so much, and then I lost it 😔 I've been looking for a tutorial on that "pearl knot" technic!! Thank you so much 🙏❤️ could you write in pinyin what you called the knot? 🥰✨
Thank you for this tutorial. I am just getting started at this and really liked the way you explain and show how to make the bracelet. This really helped... Thank you again. :)
Thk u for showing. now I have to try to redo my elastic bracelets to braided cord. I regret buying in elastic formats. I have an elastic one and it broke after wearing it only few times.
Thank you for this video Karen. I really love this. It is really a tutorial☺️❤️ U Karen😘 Can you please make a video how to make a necklace for a crystal stone pendant that has no hole and how to make a bracelet or necklace for donut design crystal stones
The beading part looked pretty easy, but when you got to the tying part, I was completely and utterly lost as to what you were doing. I even tried to slow the video down to .25 speed. Do you have a video with either verbal or written instructions? I gave you a thumbs up for your time because it is not your fault that I am not a visual learner.
Hello. I just happened to stop on your channel, and I liked what I saw, so I subscribed. I can't wait to look at your previous, as well as upcoming videos.
Hi KAREN, I would like to know how long is the thread you used for that bracelet. And how much thread should i use for a pearl necklace 1,30meters long. I live in Italy and wait your answer. love all you do. Thanks for teaching generously.
Hey Karen, thanks foe tje video. Quick question, most beads have a hole of about 1mm, double width of a 0.8mm cord doesn't go through. Do u get beads with wider hiles or have i missed something? I really wanted to try but now stuck!

Thank you for the tutorial on "knotting". Being a visual learner, I really enjoyed the demonstration. But I ABSOLUTELY LOVED that music by Lil JX!!! Classic mixed with a reggae beat.......FABULOUS! 👍🏾😍

Meu Deus! 😳 Esse jeito de fazer o nó, já com as pedrinhas/miçangas no fio, eu não conhecia. Gratidão por compartilhar esse belo vídeo. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I never realized how easy those bracelets are to make. Thank you for this, I just might spend far more time than I have, making a bunch of these.
Thanks so much Karen this is a far superior method of stringing crystals 🙏🏽
I learned how to do pearl knotting with a very long pair of tweezers (for jewelry making). Your way is very interesting!

The last part is called square knot. Used in many ways, works great with beads. Shamballa bracelet is made of square knots as well.
Completely and utterly lost at that point too ! Too fast !
Lost at the end
