@wejussgonread i agree ND might score only 28, but USC is not going over 17. I just watched them against UCLA. I'm not seeing it. Little about USC looked troubling. I think Pete's 28-10 prediction sounds about right. I'm going to take 31-17 ND.
I know. I’ve been let down so many times that I am hesitant to just go all in. But what the heck, I might as well enjoy the ride. ND wins big, and does damage in the playoff. Go Irish!
Pete, you do a great job talking to an empty chair, and Tim is way better at talking back... lol Thanks for the cast and giving me more of a rationale than I did have for optimism... Go Irish!
Excellent show, gents. Great job filling in, Tim. My recency bias of trips to the Coliseum have me slightly on edge. We’ve either squeaked by late or USC blows the doors off us. I need to see ND strut in there and back it up with an absolute humiliation of Southern Cal. Which begs the question: if Coach Free wanted blood in the Army game… then does he demand serious maiming and dismemberment for USC?
I think ND’s limited use of J. Love also reflects an agreement ND reached with Love during his recruitment. Love is smart in understanding that conserving his tread will help him maximize his NFL earnings.
I was at the 2017 USC game. Absolutely electric. Legend has it, Josh Adams is still running somewhere waiting for anything red to be within 25 yards of him.
Freeman knows he has good coaches and players and is motivated to push this team as far as possible. He smells a substantial contract extension like a shark senses blood in the water. (Or is it smells? Do sharks smell? 😉)
Actually in the punting game. We have the best punter in College football. And our kick off returner (Mckai Lemon) is very good and has a lot of 40+ returns since he took over for Branch. Kyron Hudson can make some insane catch’s and Duece Robinson is a tough match up (6’6, 230) for anyone. Our running back Woody Branch also is a 1100 yard runner and is our leading receiver too. ND is most likely going to win, and anything less than a 14 point+ win will be a viewed as a failure, and the playoff committee will punish ND in their seeding, which means they’ll play a real team, and ND will get their arses handed to them.
Watched the SC game vs UCLA…if you can’t beat down your cross town…you’re not good ! During the Reggie Bush era, they killed UCLA…this not those SC teams.
As an ND fan, I am having trouble reigning in my confidence in ND spanking USC. Oh what the heck, I am going with the flow! ND 35, USC 14.
Me too! I’m being very conservative and guessing ND 28, SC 20

yo pete straight up you have much better chemistry with this guy than you do with fortuna ... please keep him around long-term
An Independent without Fortuna is a must watch. Finally!
Like the typical ND fan I’m nervous about this game. Regardless I’m calling a 31-17 win.

You guys sure are confidant. USC plays pretty good at the Coli. Fight On.

Not saying Freeman is motivated only by money. He clearly wants to win a natty at ND.
Where does USC have the advantage? I’ll wait…

ND 38-17
USC average DL will get exposed

And if you can't beat NIU.....you're not good! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@onedirtyharry7212 we'll keep riding this tired comment all the way to a natty at this point 😜
@@Law_Dogg Sure, keep telling yourself that. The loses are coming. Add another year to the natty drought. 😝
