"Here then, we see the weakness of power... but we learn also of the power in weakness. And how God often makes that which seems most resistible to be irresistible." (22:36) Which animal barks the most: the big dog, or the small dog? God normally represents himself in the modest forms of a dove, a rainbow, a still small voice, a former Pharisee with poor eyesight, or a meek carpenter. Who is the more effective teacher: force, or reason? Force may change the outside, but reason transforms from within. Only in his wrath, do we see grand and mighty miracles, and soon... we will see this grandeur, again.
I love hearing Mr spurgeon only it's this is just my thought but it's I believe it's true when you're powerful you don't have to prove your powerful and the goodness of God is what leads people to repentance and caring about others to tell them and love what will happen if they don't repent showing them you care God makes the rules and we get to obey them we can choose to follow or disregard the father's loving instructions
Amen and Amen!!! Wonderful sermon!!! Thank you!!! All glory and honor to our Lord Christ Jesus!!!
Gods ways are not our ways nor our thoughts His, but His thoughts and ways are higher than ours! For that I am grateful!!😅
Our weaknesses a prove that we are also mortal human beings.
I have received a gem.
Thanks for the thought that “God uses who He chooses “ 🎶🙏🎶 Oh May I daily set aside time to listen to God!!#Lovesign

Very interesting points that you raise. It is not by might or by power....
