They won't land a soldier on Taiwanese soil until these strikes have achieved their objectives. Any attempt to help Taiwan from outside forces will be suppressed with D21C and D26 long-range anti-ship ballistic missiles as well as land and air-launched hypersonic missiles that are undetectable and unstoppable (according to the Pentagon). Taiwan would be effectively blockaded and bombarded and would probably surrender without an invasion. If the Chinese did decide to land forces it would be accomplished by massive forces and overwhelming fire support from land, sea and air. The Taiwanese navy is no match for China's, which is the largest in the world, with some of the most advanced vessels and could do very little to stop a seaborne/airborne assualt.

Whoever designed this seems unaware of basics of the type of defence Taiwan has perfected. Eventually the assumption is not a pip squeak from the hundreds of layered, shore missile batteries which have all sea lanes bracketed and zeroed in and the entire air space above Taiwan zoned. Landing an amphibious invasion fleet will result in 60% casualties and those than do land will have to contend with pre zoned machine gun lanes, mined. Pre-targeted artillery just waiting from protected pens. Not WW2 style open ditches. The 40% that might thus escape the slaughter in the strait will face another 50-60% casualties in human and material assets committed. This is not happening unless China achieves total air and sea dominance first. Each of those dumb sorties by PLAF which penetrated Taiwanese air space were allowed in and all were painted and acquired by Taiwanese defence net. It's not that Taiwan is amazing or especially good at this or has been prepped to the gills by the vastly experienced USMC. Any half decent island nation of reasonable heft and size can mount such a defence with modern weapons its forces are well trained to handle. This type of suicidal sea wave assaults are simply not feasible today without identifying and neutralising 1st and 2nd tier enemy assets first. Chinese PLAF and their noisy PLAN subs simply do not yet have the capability even if they have the numbers. Good entertainment. Fictional.

If the Taiwan side had Anti-Air support they would've taken out those attack choppers which was the bigger threat I've noticed in this video. But again, I know this is not an accurate depiction if ever this happens in real life.

As a game simulations, it's pretty good. But I hope next time, the game can start as all the other WWII wars as the whole landscape artilary bombing. Cuz per Chinese intelligence report, the beach bombing stragedy is planned per meters. Whoever designed this seems unaware of basics of the type of defence Taiwan has perfected. Eventually the assumption is not a pip squeak from the hundreds of layered, shore missile batteries which have all sea lanes bracketed and zeroed in and the entire air space above Taiwan zoned. Landing an amphibious invasion fleet will result in 60% casualties and those than do land will have to contend with pre zoned machine gun lanes, mined. Pre-targeted artillery just waiting from protected pens. Not WW2 style open ditches.
The 40% that might thus escape the slaughter in the strait will face another 50-60% casualties in human and material assets committed.
This is not happening unless China achieves total air and sea dominance first.
Each of those dumb sorties by PLAF which penetrated Taiwanese air space were allowed in and all were painted and acquired by Taiwanese defence net.
It's not that Taiwan is amazing or especially good at this or has been prepped to the gills by the vastly experienced USMC.
Any half decent island nation of reasonable heft and size can mount such a defence with modern weapons its forces are well trained to handle.
This type of suicidal sea wave assaults are simply not feasible today without identifying and neutralising 1st and 2nd tier enemy assets first.
Chinese PLAF and their noisy PLAN subs simply do not yet have the capability even if they have the numbers.

If the Taiwan side had Anti-Air support they would've taken out those attack choppers which was the bigger threat I've noticed in this video. But again, I know this is not an accurate depiction if ever this happens in real life.
By the way there are more beaches in Taiwan you should probably do more insidious landings for a Chinese invasion of Taiwan and you should also try to do a battle of new Taipei city

Is it me or is it similar to D-Day, except there are attack helicopters instead of paratrooper planes, tanks in the water and Taiwanese tanks used as artillery, and more modern-ish boats instead of Higgins for the Allies, and no bunkers for the Taiwanese machine gunners?! 😂😂

As a game simulations, it's pretty good. But I hope next time, the game can start as all the other WWII wars as the whole landscape artilary bombing. Cuz per Chinese intelligence report, the beach bombing stragedy is planned per meters. Like how many rounds of bombing per meters on the beach, it's hardly to believe and living things or equipment can survie under this kind of attach.
