How am I ever supposed to get to the point where my reels become "eligible" if they NEVER GET SEEN by the Facebook general public? Hmm, we haven't had an issue with that and I can't find anything online that says it's a platform wide issue. There have been a lot of updates to Instagrams algorithms and how they track metrics like views so it could very well just be a bug that they're in the process of working out!

The bonus program payments are calculated at the end of each month. They will then be paid out approximately 21 days later!

You need to reach at least 1K views on a single Reel over a 30 day period. Allow up to a week after those 30 days to receive the invite!

How am I ever supposed to get to the point where my reels become "eligible" if they NEVER GET SEEN by the Facebook general public? When I upload Facebook reels they only get seen by people in my friends list. But when I watch reels on Facebook uploaded by other people I notice they have thousands and sometimes millions of thumbs up. What are those people doing differently than me?

OKAY So I've noticed that my Ads on Reels monetization earnings have pretty much HALTED over the past 1-2 days, did you experience the same? I'm dying to know so that I know if it's my channel's fault or a general problem......
Hmm, we haven't had an issue with that and I can't find anything online that says it's a platform wide issue. There have been a lot of updates to Instagrams algorithms and how they track metrics like views so it could very well just be a bug that they're in the process of working out!

For your first question, Facebook has 2 links on this page, one for creators and one for advertisers on how to enable banner ads: facebook.com/business/help/540148664327561
For your second question, people will only see banner ads on reels if they fall within the target audience that has been selected for that ad.

Great video. There are two ways to upload reels on facebook. First from your personal profile and second from your business page. I only upload reels from my personal profile and my reels are getting some views. Question, can I monetize those reels or does monetization only apply to reels posted by a business page? Thanks.
You should be able to monetize reels from your personal page as well!

A screen will pop up on your Instagram asking you to accept the invite to the Reels Play Bonus Program, you will accept it, then go to your Instagram profile, click "professional dashboard" at the top, then scroll down and click "bonuses." Hope this helps!

I received an email to monetize my fb reels . I completed the app and set everything up not paying attention . Then I realized I only used reels on my personal page not business . Now I’m not sure which account the email was for … my personal or business ? How can I tell ? I’m super confused . I don’t want to post reels from my business account and it’s not monetized .
