This was such an great way of showcasing the inability of letting go and moving on, the way the house keeps getting bigger and bigger on the inside so more things to pack show up, hallways become endless, doors lead to nowhere, the protagonist going back to the same place after finally managing to leave. That feeling of wanting to let go but not wanting to loosen your hands, of managing to make progress forward but somehow walking in a circle right back where you started, it's so haunting and so difficult to tread through.
It feels like the real horror was executive dysfunction all along, committing to a task and watching it grow out of control until you're exhausted. From "Finally, almost done" to "Wait, I have a basement now too?".
My partner and I didn’t know the premise of the game and were like, “WHO WOULD MAKE A GAME ABOUT MOVING??!! That’s a nightmare! This should be a horror game!” Gab immediately after, “This game starts off cozy but then turns into horror…” 😂😂😂😂

The "Only one book? Psychopath!" took me out. 😂 I love Gab's humour so much. (Also I want her hat, so cosy looking!) Ten minutes in and I'm very intrigued just how exactly this game will be horror, loving the subtle poltergeist action so far. 👀 Bonus points for the IRL doorbell jumpscare. 😆 Got me good. And of course every video is massively improved by an appearance of Sir BB. 🧡

I love that there was no context at the beginning, no mention that this was a spooky game. Gab just launches into "I hope we cut up bodies!" during what you assume to be a cozy game hahha.
I totally added this game to my wishlist without knowing it was a horror game because Steam compared it to unpacking. I think the horror aspect just makes me want it more, but I'm pretty sure I'll be more focused on the packing part of the game 😆 Just a lot of me being all "go away ghost! I'm packing! 😤"
34:43 when I was a bit younger, after my parents split, I moved houses so many times until my mom found a proper house where she isn't just leasing it for a few years. I was at the point where it would take me months/a year to actually fully unpack, and I still would keep boxes in my closet of stuff I never really needed to unpack/didn't have room for in my room. The process of moving was always the Worst, it took so long to take everything out and put it all somewhere else when we only have a few days tops with a moving truck. So glad thats over lol

Also just a tip: massage guns are great on your chest to break up mucus when you're sick, and you should try gently touching it to your ear lobe. It tickles the sensitive hairs in your ear that react to sound. It might be my AuDHD tendencies but I think it feels really great and Sean might like it lol. Since he loves stimulation.
