    Your turtoral was very great. The results was very good. You look so beautiful after that. Did you wear your nightgown during your turtoral. ❤❤

      Thank you! I get my hairnets from amazon but the slumber nets were gifted from Lucilles Locks overseas. They are lovely. You may find something similar at sally Beauty or a square scarf.

    I finally decided to make the switch to night rollers in order to avoid heat damaging tools. I have long fine hair and cannot wait to try your tuto next time I wash my hair.
    One question tho: do you just go to sleep normally after setting your hair or sleeping with a turban/net can help keeping the style crisp for another day?
    A video on "going to bed after day 1 of beautiful overnight set hair" and restyling the following morning maybe? 0:-) I love having gorgeous hair after the wash, but a few days of style with minimum touches (no heat or excessive washes) would be heaven

    • @mrstdupuy
      @mrstdupuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes I love the benefits of minimal washing and no heat styling. I will usually try to preserve the style as much as I can throughout the week with sleeping in a hairnet and a turban and I hope to cover this in a future video soon.

      @@mrstdupuy you are the best! Looking forward to it :)
      Also had another question popping in my little head this morning: I workout fairly often during the week (3/4 times), usually put my hair in a military bun… any tips on what to do once I start doing proper hairstyle? Women in WWII had to do PT but always had impecable hair so they re must be a trick to it.. 0:-)

    • @mrstdupuy

      I think these give a tighter curl and more lift at the root but Rockin rollers are more comfortable and my first choice lately. Thank you 🙏

    Can’t wait to try this on my fine, straight hair and my friends medium, curly hair! Is the hair lotion necessary? If I skip it will the hair be frizzy and/or kinked?

    • @mrstdupuy

      I recommend using some sort of setting product but I’m you can just set on wet hair. You can use a mouse as well.

    Always perfect 🤩, I watching you from Greece. I have a question, can I do this hairstyles in long hair?

    • @mrstdupuy
      @mrstdupuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You may need more rollers and smaller sections and it will take longer too dry but the methods should work the same.

    This is awesome and super helpful as I just bought these rollers! Just two questions , how long do the curls typically last, and what are some good second day styles (if they hold) to try?

    • @mrstdupuy
      @mrstdupuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For me a good set with about 25 of these rollers maintained in a net at night can last 3 days. But my hair will still have a slight curl at the bottom for a whole week. I love half updos for day two and you can always re roll with. Bit of water to reset the curls mid week or try pin curling. Scarves, snoods, and hair combs are great for adding variety 😊

    is there a reason you roll the top back and not down? i have a middle part with baby bangs and i have these rollers. i’m not sure what would be a good setting pattern. should i part my hair down the middle? thanks :)

    • @mrstdupuy
      @mrstdupuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s kinda up to you and the style you want. I think rolling back is the easiest so more beginner friendly in this pattern. If you have bangs you could roll away from the part on either side or just pin curl them in the same direction and brush them out for a slight wave. I havnt had bangs since trying out vintage styling so I can’t say I have any experience with them. I would look for setting patterns that include bangs 😊

    Hi, how do you clean the rollers to remove any buildup or product on the rollers?

    • @mrstdupuy
      @mrstdupuy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Soak them in a bowl with some dawn dish soap and let dry on a towel 👌

  • @elenaaguilarcastillo1932
    @elenaaguilarcastillo1932 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi! Is there any sort of protective style I can use to maintain the waves while I work out? I’m getting back on my fitness journey and I want to work out daily, but can’t wash my hair everyday 😅 especially since it’s colored in a very strong vintage red. If anyone has any tips, I’d appreciate it a ton!!!!

    • @mrstdupuy
      @mrstdupuy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a tricky one if your hair will be getting very saturated. You could wear a poodle and pin curls in place on top of your head and wait for your hair to dry again before taking it down. Or pin curl your hair and wear a scarf or a hat I’ve done that for jogging
