This was a good discussion and really useful to me. I justgot the revised core set and am trying to learn the game. One question, are the old expansions and modules compatible with the revised core set, or will there be new ones trickling out for my edition, thanks! :)
Hey thanks! Glad you enjoyed and super excited for you to start playing! The old expansions are 100% compatible with this new set. It has not been confirmed if they are releasing them, but if I had to guess I would think we would see them rereleased at some point!
I remember reading that they were planning on re-releasing the old packs for LOTR but they said that they weren't planning on re-releasing all of it at this time.
Can you buy scenario packs from the old version and add them to the revised core set? I have the revised set and i got the Dark of Mirkwood but there are some scenario packs from the old version i want to add.Unless they realease some revised campaign expansions
They have announced revised packaging for some of the old expansions. We are not sure if they will all be repackaged, but you can absolutely buy and play with the old expansions and the revised set!
