Ignoring the all new VW 6.0 Polo Gti, those that know cars say the VW POLO 6C GTi is arguably the best all round mini hot hatch on the market.......better than the Ford Fiesta ST, Mini Cooper S, Renault Clio RS?????? So we decided to confirm this for ourselves!

The why DSG is only 250NM is the gearbox limitation anything beyond that it'll pretty much start frying the clutches. That dry clutch system made it unreliable but swapping to a DQ250 wet clutch gearbox would do best.

Thank you for watching bro. As for the flashing headlights, that is the HD GoPro camera causing that flickering effect lol. Most camera's cause that flickering effect when filming LED lights for some reason. And CONGRATS on your GTI!!! I'm sure you really gonna enjoy it.

Im concerned about the Dq200 gearbox because ive heard about the gearbox failure, could it pose potential problem in the long run ?
Should i be worried or just buy it?
Howzit bro. Yeah the DQ200 dry clutch is a weak point but if you keep the car stock and you service the DSG gearbox regularly then you good. Also how hard you drive the car also matters in terms of longevity, so be kind to your car lol.
So i say buy it, its a great little car but get a good aftermarket warranty for unexpected mechanical failures.

Hi! I saw you talking about the technique for the pops u make from the exhaust, could you explain, or is there a video somewhere to find how to do this? I just got mine this week and would love to know or learn this! :)

Hi there Mitchel. So to answer your question i'm gonna be as detailed as i can and this will require some practice. So basically to get those upshift pops you need to be smooth when shifting.
Step 1: Make sure the car is in Sport mode
(You can also put traction off but only when its dry weather please)
Step 2: Put the gearbox in manual mode by moving the gear lever to the left in D position.
Step 3: Now when you accelerate make sure that you change gear between 4000-5500 rpm in each gear as you go up the gears. (Open your windows to hear if the pops are happening)
Usually the best DSG pops or farts are from 1st to 4th gear and then they get less louder in the higher gears.
This will take some practice but you will get used to it. Try it and let us know how it goes. Congrats on your new hot hatch you are gonna enjoy it. Thanks for watching.😉👍

Does the car have to be in “Sport” mode ? I test drove one without and I struggled to get the pops
A bit late answer but as a 6c driver i found out the best pops come out if you just drive in Sportmode and go only half throttle. It shifts at 4300rpm and makes the best pops on its own.

awsome car,i have the base modle and altough it is not fast i enjoy driving it very much,i got a question those tints look super dark,are such dark tints legal in your countryt cause in here the cops will pull over a car like this and scratch the tints off
Thanks for watching bro. Yeah the tints are fairly dark. They are not strictly legal but most guys will take chances with law enforcement and keep on. The police will only remove them in rare circumstances.
I know its an old video but I have to ask: How do I add those little pops and do they only happen when you put it on manual shift? or even on D or Sport mode they do come out?
Sho boi i have no problem with your question. You are correct those upshift pops occur in sport manual mode when you shift between 5000-6000rpm or if you leave in sport D mode it will pop on its own.

At the time of the review....... yes the exhaust was bone stock.
Wanted to quit the video .67 seconds in due to the over-use of "Uhm...". Otherwise an AWESOME review, great depth and excellent coverage.

Yes it is. Sounds great right. There is a technique to make it pop like that on upshifts.

They generally hold value very well in used car market. But this will always depend on mileage, car condition, service history and no accident history. Remember......if u trade in your car for a new one the dealers will usually screw you over.
