Yes, but this is not his actual name, this is his stage name that he chose for himself. "Jaskier" is another flower (buttercup), but this word in polish is similar to "jaskrawy" (bright, flashing) and Dandelion is similar to dandy, so it plays nice. His name is different in many translations, in czech it's Marigold (and they changed Triss to Ranuncul). Netflix decision to keep polish name is weird, because Jaskier means nothing to english speaking audience. Also, his actual name is Julian Alfred Pankratz, Viscount de Lettenhove ;)

It makes me feel kind of bad finishing the W3 DLC without knowing what kind of history "I" had with Regis.
