Heard End of Beginning on a random spotify radio and stopped what I was doing to go like it and figure out which artist it was, a week or two later decided to just listen to the full album and ended up loving pretty much the whole thing - then right when I'm about to go to bed I google the artist and I'm like "wait a minute WHAT lmao", such a strong musician given he's known as an actor. Hope he keeps making music for a really long time.
I'll be honest, I got introduced to Djo through end of beginning because of tiktok, but I'm so happywith my decision of listening to the whole album because this is one of the greatest works of music ive ever heard in my life. On initial listen, the overall sound was something I was not use to listening, but it definitely intruiged me. And though i was not fully blown away after listening to the whole thing the first time, something inside me just compelled me to listen to it again and OMG I FELL IN DEEP LOVE WITH IT!!! Djo not only is the greatest songwriters of all time, but a damn good musician, given his ability to make you feel before hearing what he has to say in a song. I'm so grateful to had discovered him and cannot wait for more music from him and many more reactions from you, Nat! 🥰🥰🥰
I haven't listened to anything else since this dropped. 💖 I will listen to Maya's soon, but I am just obsessed with this album. I bought it on cd and cassette. My favs Half Life Climax On and On Fool
21:17 she was kinda right! I also liked how she explained the song On And On, talking about going on social media and distraction and then talking about being human again, then going back to your ordinary live, ahhhhh!❤ 25:45 omg sounds like an actual 80s song
Love, love, love Decide. My faves are Climax, Go for it, Gloom, Runner and End of Beginning (basically every songs in this album). This album is a gem, you just can't hit the skip button because all the songs are so good. Man, Djo is a genius songwriter as well as a musician.
34:00 omg did not expect that, I don't have his whole album but I have Go For It and I literally did not know this had to match, he did such good job, I'm so happy I know him. 36:48 so right. She smart af 41:18 she got that right tho *sorry for so many comments, just need to put it out there lol**
Djo is a great fucking artist. Hands down. His old band "Post Animal" is worth looking into if you like alt/indie pop and psychedelic rock. Joe is lead vocals for some of their songs but I know he leads on the track "Ralphie" which is great.
Okay, so I'm not sure if you've already heard them but THE DRIVER ERA is a great group. Ironically, it's another actor with actual good music; Ross Lynch and his brother. Their new album "Summer Mixtape" came out the same day as DECIDE, you should totally give it a listen and post your reaction! Great video, gotta love Djo.
I as cynical and assumed this actors music would be typical garbage pop and that he is just the vessel. No, Joe Kerry is a tremendous musical creative talent. Awesome stuff
Honestly, I'm very picky with music quality as I like genuine music crafts over recycled modern pop. But this album has been on repeat since I discovered his music. I absolutely love it!
djo is one of the best 70/80's styled singers out there rn and i'm living for it
The end of beginning track left me in tears 😭.

19:07 OMGGG ME TOOOO it's concerning 😆
I loved the video! It would be great to have another one about Arctic Monkeys' The Car
posting that soon in January!!
It’s up!!🎉
I'd love to see you react to Aaliyah's "red album" (her last before her passing) it's a mix of R&B, Alt rock, and Ballads
Where's my one of the fav songs of his record named Mortal Projections 😭😭
Next time you should let each song play into the next, a lot of them have cool transitions!
ugh I know I realized this after listening to it again!
Amazing video. Love djo. What an amazing album. Half life is probably my least favourite
