Man, that one was tight. I went through it once improvising on the acoustic, then once on the electric, and finally I listed to a good dose of inspiration to keep working on it!
So am I correct in my observation that everything is from the parent scale of Eb major. Which is of course the same chords as C minor. But the odd man out is the G major chord which I assume is there to give us that Harmonic Minor thing as the G chord hits causing one to accentuate the B note (maj 3rd of G) that would be the major 7th of the C major chord. Hopefully my explanation was clear. There's surely a better way to say what I was trying to convey.
